Animal Kingdom Drop Off Lot - Joffreys Donuts

Every time we visit WDW, the only place we find Joffreys Donuts is at the cart in front of the entrance of Animal Kingdom, unless someone knows another place to get the donuts, we were wondering if we could stop at the passenger drop off lot at Animal Kingdom and have someone run to get the donuts while the rest of us wait in the car. Will security let us sit in that drop off lot for a few moments?

Not sure about the drop off; however, I see Joffrey’s donuts at every Joffrey’s cart in the parks.
