So we will be at animal kingdon 9-4 we plan on rope dropping then leaving mid day around 12 having lunch off site and then heading back to our resort for rest and head back for pur evening fast passes my fast passes start at 4:05 another at 6:05 and another at 7:50 so my question is how should I plan the first half of our day we want to get in a couple of rides and maybe a show or 2 we aren't interested in EE as we are all chicken dung lol. So any suggestions are appreciated.

I would say to figure out which shows you want to see and look at the show times first thing, because this will determine where you need to be when to a large extent. For instance, when we were there last week, I believe the first Flights of Wonder show was at 10:30, and the first Nemo show was at noon (I'm not sure about Lion King), so if you're only going to be there for the morning, you will want to plan around those (Flights of Wonder show is great, by the way). If you're interested in the safari, I would suggest doing that first thing. Have fun!

You haven't said what your FP+ are for. I agree with RLGNC above that show times will obviously impact what you can ride and when. Nemo show is usually on the hour, I think it starts at 11:00am if I recall. The first hour or so is a good time to get on more popular rides like Kali or the Safari, or Dino. That may also be a good time to do walking trails if you're going to be there when the weather is hot. AK is by far (in my opinion) the hottest park in WDW. It's not fun to do the walking trails midday.

I would suggest planning your day around the Kilimanjaro Safari for the ride and then Nemo, Lion King, and Flights of Wonder for the shows. My must see every time is Nemo.

My FP+ are in this order safari- Kali-Primeval.

I agree with everyone else - get the shows in if that's a priority for you. If you're interested in characters, I would do that as well. And Dinosaur. We haven't been in the evening yet; we're going in December, so looking forward to switching things up a bit!

Unfortunately dinosaur will be closed for refurb during our visit as for shows Im going to talk with everyone and see if they are interested as we are going with 2 toddlers so maybe we will try lionking and see how well it works out
