We've been to Cb at Ohana, Contemporary, and Yacht & beach Club, but have never tried the offerings at the Animal Kingdom. We're thinking about making a reso for next month. Anyone have any stories to share?

Animal Kingdom has a character breakfast at Tusker House. You'll get characters in their safari outfits. It's more of a buffet offering, like most character meals, but TH is set up with stations/pods similar to Boma if you have been there before.

If you are wanting to try something new, I'd say go for it!

That sounds like fun! Didn't AK used to have a character b-fast in Dino-Land sometime back?

Yes, but they changed it to Tusker House last year.

I am copying my post about our experience at Tusker House. This is from an adults only perspective so keep that in mind:

It was just me and DH so this may have affected how we were treated. We were seated way in the back, about as far away from the buffet as you could get. Our server never came and introduced himself. He did bring drinks, but only after we had been there for half an hour and he never came back to give us refills.

It was very loud and the characters were slow to come around. (The main reason I booked breakfast there was because DH loves Donald) The characters were attentive and took lots of pictures. Our big disappointment was in that Daisy skipped our table all together!

The food itself was good. There were a few unique dishes (African style) The one thing our server did praise was their donuts which were similar to Krispy Kreme. Other than that it was the usual...eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, grits, cereal, pasteries...

I ended up leaving in tears because I felt like we were treated differently because we didn't have kids. I never had that feeling anywhere else in WDW and we had been to several other character meals. Perhaps you'll have better luck there if you have kids.
