Has anyone been to Animal Kingdom on Christmas day before? I was just wondering if there's any chance the Boneyard would open early on Christmas day. I'm planning a trip for some friends. While the thrill ride seekers do Primeval Whirl, Dinosaur and Expedition Everest at park opening, I was hoping that the Boneyard would be open for the younger children. The Triceratop Spin wouldn't take long enough. Thanks for any info!

I have no idea. It normally opens 30 minutes after the park opens (as I'm sure you know); don't know if that would be different on Xmas.

The younger ones could also ride Kilimanjaro Safaris, see a show (It's Tough to Be a Bug, Flights of Wonder, Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo the Musical); visit characters; ride the train; stroll the various nature trails... there is plenty to do in addition to playing in the playground.

Thanks! The family wants to do all of those attractions together after the first 3 thrill rides are finished bright and early. If the boneyard was open, that would keep the younger kids occupied before they all proceed to the other attractions you mentioned. Fingers crossed! :goodvibes

Ah that makes sense. We have been there several times on Christmas morning... but I don't recall seeing the Boneyard at that time of day. Fingers crossed here too!

:santa:
