We have the option of going to Animal Kingdom at 7am tomorrow. I'm wondering how much we can actually see in the dark?!? We've never been there before.

Would you go at 7am? We have to be at Hollywood studios by 445/5 for dinner at 50s prime time and then the Star Wars show. Its our last day, we drive home to VA Sunday. Had to stay an extra day to avoid Hurricane Matthew.

If you are staying at AK until traveling to Hollywood Studios, you will most likely be able to do almost everything in the park if you arrive at 7. You can probably even be done with AK by 1-2 p.m. I would do the safari, Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids for the EMH. Then that leaves time for you to take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, walk the animal trails, It's Tough to be a Bug, see the Festival of the Lion King show, and see the Nemo Musical. All of those are probably the most popular things to do in AK. It can possibly take you a little longer than I said above. It just depends on crowds and what was effected by the hurricane. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your advice! We have fast passes for all those rides later in the morning. I would love to be able to fit it all in!

You can totally do all of those things at AK for the day - even without FP if you are going so early! if you can really be there when they open - You will be able to cruise thru and do Everest more than once I think..

If you are a huge Everest fan - I would enter the park and stop to visit Mickey/Minnie and then go to Everest first thing and ride 2-3 times in a row. Then head over to safari. I agree that waiting until it's warmer out is a good idea for Kali so you can dry off! so after safari - walk thru the jungle trek and visit the monkeys and then if it's warm enough - Kali - if not maybe flights of wonder or Baloo and Luie photos or pick a show if there are any that early!!

You're welcome. Have fun!

I haven't looked at the weather for tomorrow. I was there about two weeks ago and it was really hot at that time in the morning and getting wet at that time felt fine to me, and I dried up pretty quickly. I only recommended the rides that would have the longest wait times during the day. Kali River Rapids will definitely have the longest wait if it is hot and humid in the late morning/afternoon hours.

Definitely go. You'll benefit from low crowds for a few hours. And it won't be dark for long, sunrise is about 7:15

I'd bring a change of clothes for Kali. Either that or wear a poncho/quick drying clothes. No cotton anywhere.

I got very wet on the right side of my body on Splash Mountain last week. It was very hot and humid. I came home with a nice skin rash/infection from it. It's only where I was wet so I know it's from that. I was wearing a cotton shirt.

I really should have known better. I'll never do that again!

Sounds like a great time to be there - the animals will be frisky, as they've just been let out, and dawn/dusk are lively times for them. Also, the atmosphere of sunrise in that lush place - I'm jealous!
