Angry and Dizzy

Hello. i'm leaving for Disney world in less then 25 days. :) or at least I should be :) right?

I am angry all the time because I am dizzy all the time. If i wasn't dizzy I wouldn't be angry. I have a dr's appointment on Monday but that can't come soon enough. I have a dr's appointment for blood work and urine test. I hope something comes back that can explain the dizziness and all the anger. I guess I'm angry because I don't have a sense of imagination or lost of interest and that my mom says its all from what you eat. ?? Is that true? part of me doesn't want to believe it but it can't be true because i haven't felt myself in over a year. I worry/worried too much about stuff and now just don't know any more.

I'm not me. I was on anti-depressants but those made me hallucinate (in a bad way). I am dizzy enough that it affects my driving. I was dizzy before/during and after anti-depressants. :( I am not sure how i will be able to walk around the parks w/o getting dizzy or whether or not i am going to enjoy myself. I am never hungry any more and just feel like i'm stressed over nothing.

I am hoping...praying to GOD that something in my blood work/urine test comes back with something that can be easily fixed or enough to get a C-T scan of my brain because i really do think that there is something wrong but don't have any symptoms of any thing unless you count the anger and dizziness.

I do suffer from PTSD and major depression. I have been trying to get a psychologist to see me but it's either they are not covered, not taking new client or because of my situation, because whoever see's me, might have to testify in court for the lawsuit that is going on due to the trauma that was caused on 9-11-2007.

Can someone tell me if dizziness is related to something other then PTSD?
Or help me in any way. I am thinking bout going on weight watchers (on my own - like buy the TV dinners for b.l.and d. for a week or so to see how that helps and it can't hurt to lose a few pounds before Disney. It might just aggravate me more because i will not be able to eat the things i "like."

Can some one help? I know everyone helps in their own way and think that what they are saying is positive but please put it in terms, if a child is reading this you wouldn't want to offend a child (at least i hope not).

I am in no means a Dr, but I think getting blood work/urine is the right way to go. That is a start in the right direction. If your thyroid is off, then it can cause a whole range of emotions.

Hugs and prayers to you:grouphug:

I agree having lab testing is a good start. I can't say much about the depression, but since you can't find a mental health provider to see you maybe you can find a support group. Maybe if you google your ptsd event you could find a support group.
I can speak about being dizzy. I have an "invisible disease" that affects my balance. It is not easy and can cause great frustration. As far as going to disney and being dizzy. I use a wheelchair. It isn't as fun as it was prior to the disease and there are many rides I can not go on, but in my opinion it is better than not going at all.
Best of luck. I will remember you in my prayers.

Sorry to hear you are having all these health difficulties, I can only imagine how frustrating it is for you to have to deal with these problems.

I agree with Mommasita and Dee that it is very good that you are seeing the doctor and perhaps they may also be able to refer you to psychologist that would be covered by your insurance (I'm in australia so not really sure how your health care system works).

I'm afraid I don't have answers but you are always welcome to come here and have a chat and get some:grouphug:

I hope things go well with your appointment on Monday and that the dizziness can get resolved quickly so you can enjoy your Disney holiday. Sending you a little pixie dust:wizard:

I would like to say thanks for all your well wishes. I do hope this is not a forever thing because it is starting to effect my driving...and my g6 convertible cant go without a driver too long. lol.

i do feel slightly better then what I was feeling a few months ago but the dizziness is driving me crazy. i'm honestly thinking bout a wheelchair if it doesn't subside before then. but i do hope it does because i love roller coasters and tower of terror (which is my one of my favorites).
