Was hoping for a day of just staying inside where it's warm, but it looks like another day of running around getting things done. I swear....DH doesn't realize how much I do all day!!!!

Whoops...dropped the bon bons...gotta go clean it up

Oh yeah, and for the record.....I HATE YOGURT!!!!!!

Hi All~

Today is Wednesday so that means breakfast with my gfs & then I'm gonna have to go to the grocery store......I've been putting it off & my cupboards are starting to resemble Mother Hubbard's

We're supposed to be getting 3-6 inches of snow here today....apparantly we're about a foot below our average snowfall for this time of year.

We ended up only getting a heavy dusting of snow last night. The worst is supposed to happen tonight into tomorrow morning.

Girl Scout cookies went on sale last Friday. Leah is up to around 200 boxes already! She still has to hit the neighborhood, and I am expecting a lot more from work. DH sold a TON for her at work.

Most of our Christmas decorations are down, but now they have to get packed into their boxes and put up into the attic. It's not happening tonight because we have Cub Scouts here this evening. Hopefully by Saturday we will be all done.

BTW, it looks like my problems with getting Leah up in the morning have gotten better. I was always constantly after her to get up and move, move, move, and she was always running late. I told her that I am only telling her one time to get up. She knows what time the bus comes and she knows everything she has to get done, so she is on her own. It's been working well so far!

Good morning all.

Laura, ITA with the Leah solution. It is her responsibility to get up and ready on time for school. When she is in college, mommy won't be there to do it, when she is on her own, mommy won't be there to do it, so it is a good time to learn how!

We didn't get snow last night, had a touch yesterday, but it was pellets, not flakes. Today is just cold. I am going nowhere, no need.

Gail, too bad you can't DIS at work, the nerve!

I have not seen any GS cookies here. Don't know if I will, I doubt any of them will come out it minus degrees to sell them door to door. Maybe I'll see them at the grocery.


Off to catch up on the rest of the world (I know, there is more than the DIS, really).

Morning all
I think we are going to have a quiet day today. I have been going to school with Sam every day since last Wednesday.....I am helping the teacher do the one on one evaluations for mid-term reports. It takes about 20-30 minutes per kid, so she just doesnt have the time. We also had our nature center feild trip on Monday.
Anyway, all the evals are done so I am 'off' today. I think when Sam gets home from school we are just going to kick back and have a 'nothing day'.
Off to try and catch up a bit....have a good day

BTW, anyone want to buy a Joe Corbi's pizza kit for band? My usual customers are on Atkins and won't buy now.

I guess whatever snow hits Pittsburgh will come here next. They are called for 1-3 inches.

While we are talking exams, can I have some good thoughts and PD for Sarah. She is struggling in AP Statistics and may get her first C ever. She is right on the borderline between an B and a C. She is going in after school for help and taking make up tests. So good thoughts for a point or 2 in her grade would be appreciated. (No prayers, this certainly isn't life or death.)

Since I've been home sick I've been scrapbooking like crazy. I finished DD's DF's China Book last night as part of his Christmas present. I found a new scrapbooking store about 40 minutes away and they had China Stickers! I also found a lot of Italy, Germany, France and Switzerland stickers for Adam's book which I need to start.
