Working today - have 5 court hearings this afternoon. Wonder if anyone will show up?

Decided that working overtime was a good thing at the moment. Get as much money out of this company as possible Really I would like some more play money for WDW and possibly another trip or two.

Who exchanged my husband for the man who called me just now and said book the trip? I am not kidding, he is in Charlotte NC waiting for his next flight and called and said "Go ahead and book the Orlando trip, but I don't want to stay at the Boardwalk". I had just recieved the quote from Dreams, they got me into the AKL for $217.00 per night deluxe pool view, compared to Disney online that was $1560.00 or so for Savanah Concierge, what a deal. Being the resourceful person that I am, I used his Delta FF miles for both tickets, saving even more money. I am still in shock. I wonder if I will really be going with Pete or some new husband?

Oh, and speaking of Pete, sometimes I have to remind y'all of who "my people" are.

I called my brother last week. You may recall that he is a very wooly, long haired country boy who enjoys NASCAR and Southern Rock.

Not only did he get an earring this year (He just turned 43) but since both of his children got tattoos on beach trips when they were 18, he decided it was time for him to get one also.

So on his left arm he now has the logo from Freebird The Movie

The only difference is that instead of the band, he has Ronnie Van Zandt's hat over the Confederate flag.

Would you believe that while discussing this Mrs. AA asked if I would want one? (Not that specific one). Hmmm......

I had considered having her name in Braille branded on my arm so she could read it but a tattoo would be a lot less painful!

Family, gotta love em! Yes, a tattoo is less painful then branding, I know a couple of people with brands, not my thing, for sure. Pete will be getting some additional artwork this weekend, he is going to the same guy that did my last one. I am hoping that he needs a model for the tattoo convention in 2 weeks so I can get some more done and pay less.

I honour of my now booked trip, I decided to put off doing the closet until tomorrow.

It only took four days into the school year for Logan to forget one of his homework books at school. He is now on the phone with Sue's DS Matthew who is helping him out with the math questions. We both need to invest in a scanner!

She got home at 4:05! (dismissed at 3:15 for those of you following along at home!!)

is it too much to ask that someone look at a map.....look at the bus route.......and just do the route backwards from the way they do it in the morning?????

We live 2 minutes from the school.....literally...I have timed it!
and the bus driver told me that the Evil Bus Guy .. ...(hate him!).... told him to time it both ways....

the other kids live (and this is not an exaggeration) 20 mins north up the road......so he PASSES our road and goes and drops those kids off...then circles back and drops ours off..........

also he is still BACKING UP into our street to turn around! (which is so unsafe I can't even stand it!!!!!)

I told the receptionist if Mr. Evil Bus Guy does not call me back....this evening........I am going to start writing letters and calling school board members! (and he knows I will too....I did it 4 years ago......which is why he doesnt return my calls ....LOL!)


ok...whew.....I almost feel better!

Melissa, Sarah has met her roommate but I haven't heard much about her. I know her first name and the town she is from. Sarah did have dinner with her the other night.

Sarah just sent a whole bunch of pictures from when the clarinet section took the Metro into DC to take pictures of the group by monuments. I tried to post them but they came out huge. Can anyone help me to size them?

Alan, honestly that is a really cool looking tattoo your brother got done! I think I would opt out of the branding myself... that can be very painful from what I've seen (and yes I've accidentally been "branded" by incense and cigarettes before, I'll take a tattoo in a heart beat over that!)

LK, that made me chuckle about the scanner, but honestly probably a good idea

Donna, I really do hope they get it all figured out with the bus... that is rediculous!

I just wanted to let you all know.....

the Bus Guy just called me back and in my sweetest most calm and rationale voice....I explained the problem to him....also gave him two suggestions as to how he could fix it.......he was as nice as could be............

and he is taking my advice and changing the bus route starting tomorrow and promised me that the bus driver would NEVER back up into our road again!





Going out to dinner with my neighbors tonight for Girls Nite Out.....where I plan to have a few celebratory drinks!
