The first contest was a tie between Stephanie and Star who were both a perfect 5 for 5. Stephanie however, provided a greater amount of detail (way to go Neil! ) so she is the winner of the first part.

However Star should not despair as she went 7.9 out of 8 on the tiebreaker/2nd contest. I say 7.9 since I was standing at Fantasmic when I took the picture of ToT but her answer of the lake was technically correct since that would also generate the same photo angle.

I don't know if anyone found a way to cheat or if we just have Disney experts to the nth degree. In either case my sorcerer's hat is off to all of you for a very impressive showing. I hope you had fun as that was really all it was supposed to be about. Not speaking to spouses, pulling out old photos to do research and scheduling a therapy session for someone (which was long overdue I might add) were just added bonuses. I'll post how everyone else did later tonight when I get home. But until then.....

Interesting morning at church... we came in to no power at all... so they lit a bunch of candles, we did the best we could to read music with w/o much light coming in (very cloudy due to the storms this morning) and then about halfway through at one of those "perfect moments" everyone had stood up and the lights came on... kind of neat.

Saw all the answers and considering how much I honestly dislike MGM and spending time there, I guess I didn't do too bad.

I need to dash though, going to my dad's hopefully to find some old videos of an old show... then meeting friends at 5. Enjoy the day everyone!

E we had a flicker moment like that last week, gave me chills....because it was right on cue!

I don't remember if I told ya'll ......I think it was in one of the posts that gotten eaten by the server error message...The DH had Lasik eye surgery on Thursday and has 15/20 in one and 20/20 in the other and is completely recovered (save some drops he still has to put in) It is truly amazing to see him not have to grope for his glasses. Just thought I'd share in case anyone was thinking about it...DH said it's the best thing he's ever done!!

I finally got around to posting pics of g's first day of school and they were eaten as well. I have a cute story (mommy moment) about why he chose the shirt he did on the 1st day. I asked him why he picked that one and he said because of the force mom!! I said oh yeah the ole star wars force. He sorta huffed and said NO mom the MICKEY FORCE!! I just giggled and thought...

Good news about g's teacher.....back when our school offered gifted and talented for 1st grade (starts 2nd now) she was the teacher!! We had a nice long talk at parent night and she's already figured out g is gonna need some extra enrichment and is pulling out her g&t stuff and said she would incorporate some 2nd or 3rd if needed. I feel so blessed to have a teacher that is willing to go the extra mile for a student she could easily let coast. I'm feeling a lot better about 1st grade thanks for all the hugs and support, they have really helped!! (the lady in the blue dress is his teacher)

I think that about catches me up, sorry I’ve been so lax this past week but I just felt like crud!! LOL Things are looking up and I'm actually looking forward to Monday!!

We were at a dance competition this morning/afternoon. Leah's squad placed first in their age group! The girls were so thrilled. They did a fantastic job!

Had a productive day here...did some things around the house....did more of my parent homework.....finished most of my girl scout paperwork....(YAY!)..........and curled up with a good book for a little bit while the kids were over a friend's house.

Way to go Steph and Star! You go girls!

Yay! Just got a new keyboard and mouse hooked up. I was going crazy yesterday. Tons of things I wanted to say, but I had to cut and paste letters in order to post. The keyboard completely died after Amy tripped and dumped ice water on it. All I had was the mouse. Just as Lou posted picture 8, my mouse died, too. Oh, and Allen's computer has a dead monitor. Sigh. I couldn't do a thing until Allen was home from the Scout campout.

I think I got 4 of the first 5 (#4 was impossible) and (if you count my answer to #2 as it was the right attraction) 6 of the 8 tie-breakers.

#2 I said was inside Muppet 3D, missed #7 completely, and missed #4 because I haven't been there since they built the hat. I'm not counting #8 against myself, because I had the correct answer, just no way to send it in, honest.

Bet I get the worked hardest to turn my answers in, though. I cut and pasted my answers three times before Sandy finally came to my rescue. The keyboard kept shorting out and backing up - losing everything. Thanks again for acting as my secretary.
