:rotfl:
Oh hush... I needed the sauté pan washed. The "secret" to my spaghetti is a little teeny bit of heat (spice) and oddly enough corriander :p

LK, is that just from the main site you get all your account info from? I can't believe I am going to admit this, but I totally forgot where to do :o

Sandi, just think, you'll be in sunny FL soon and can get away from that cold weather in the morning. Acutally I am so looking forward to the time change... I won't have to watch the sun rise from work in a while ;)

Good morning.

I wasn't able to post at all yesterday.

Carolyn, good thoughts for your DH today.

Star, my DH wears Echos and loves them. They are $$ but he is on his feet all day and swears by them.

Lars, hope Matt is ok today. He will have battle wounds to show at school today. BTW, which picture of Meg is backwards? Beautiful dress.

Gail, you should have called. I am sorry the Orioles lost but happy for the Sox. My brother is trying to get tickets to the playoffs and used everyone's e-mail address he could for the lottery. DH's got picked so DB is going to order tickets on DH's credit card.

The band competition went well Saturday. No rain. They came in 3rd out of 5. The season is still young.

Sunday I drove to College Park and took Sarah and her friend to church. Then Sarah and I went to lunch in the dining hall. Things there sure have changed. We did some shopping and went to TGIFridays for dinner before I drove home. It was a nice day.

Better head out to work.:wave2:

Elaine, yes, you have to log into your account and go to the "Offers" section. I forget exactly what it is called. I hope everyone has a city nearby for the screening!

Good Morning...busy all weekend so I didnt keep up here.

I worked both days at Disney and we went to see Shark Tale last night.
I think today is my only day this week with no real plans, so I am headed out to do my exchange shopping. Although I might do some of it tomorrow when I go pick up my copy of Aladdin. Grrr...the DVD's are in the store but my manager wouldnt let me take it home yesterday. I promised to not watch it until tomorrow, LOL.
We did have it on for shoppers and it looks great. There is a version of the movie with trivia facts that pop up duing it. Kinda like pop-up video. I guess Ill get it after my doctor appointment tomorrow morning.
GOtta get Sam on the bus....have a good day :)

Of course I have to admit, when I hear black and gold all I think of is my wonderful high school colors (which, I was told, also lost this weekend badly thanks to some fellow church members

What are you church members doing on the ball field in the first place? Shouldn't they leave that to the kids? :p

Who am I to tease? I see that the oh, so squirrelly Lainey did watch the humiliating Bama game which is more than I did.

Steph, congrats on 7000 and for your "former" boy Little E's victory in 'Dega!

Thanks LK!! Now if I can only remember to check in at 1 PM EDT :p

Alan, I am squirrely??? Now that's a compliment like no other

Meg looked beautiful! I love that dress. I think it's so funny that our homecoming is so different. It's right after our football game, so it's VERY casual! The kids all wear jeans and sweaters unless they are part of the "court". It's one of the most informal dances of the year, second only to Howl at the Moon (the outdoor, back-to-school dance, so called because we are the Timberwolves). The only ones that the kids get really dressed up for are the prom and the winter dance.

Bethany, sorry to hear you have to make another trip to pick up the DVD. I've heard that lots of companies are cracking down on not giving out movies before the release date.

We had a band competition on Saturday, too. I have no idea how they did, because David had to lead a workshop at the youth conference. That date had been set last year, so he was excused from this first contest. Can't wait to hear how they did.

This is going to be a busy week. Play tonight, choir concert tomorrow while the guys are at a court of honor for Scouts, Wednesday we pack, Thursday the kids are out of school - but we have a home football game, Friday morning we head to Branson for the weekend. Makes me tired to think about it. DH says he wants me to get the oil changed before the weekend.

A quick catch up:

I went home sick Friday, and slept through the afternoon.

The conference was great on Saturday and I recommend a FamilyLife conference for anyone who hasn't attended it. Although I don't know if I would attend were it not for our church paying half.

Yesterday was nothing but church. I taught SS, went to worship, went home for a quick lunch and went back at 1:30.

I helped the Associate pastor prepare for Life Chain. We had 65 - 70 people lining the highway in front of the church from 2:30 to 3:30.

Mrs. AA and I also stayed to clean up, so we went home long enough to get Winston and then get her back for a 5:00 Disability Committee meeting.

The girls and I stayed at home until our 6:00 church time.

Tonight I help a friend move (I'm skipping the first drama practice for Judgement house) and there are things planned every night this week.

I'll be counting on it LK ;)

Missy, I was kind of thinking the same thing! Although our homecoming is a bit more dressy, but floor length gowns were saved for prom. I couldn't imagine going after the game though, to a dance... they'd have the football & band parties to contend with if they did :p I think though, our most informal dance would have been the Valentine's dance... although I never went to it myself.

Alan, a small suggestion for you... don't forget to breathe...

It's amazing, I went to run an errand during lunch... I'm not sure why it is that all the slow poke drivers who go under the speed limit and break at lights that are green, come out when I want to run in and out. Took me 30 minutes to go 3 miles and buy shampoo & conditioner
