:o no.way.

Well, we had a quiet but nice day here.
Dan went to the Steeler game (YAY ...they won!) with some people from work, so the kids and I just hung out.

I got a lot of girl scout paperwork done and have most of my meeting taken care of for Wednesday.

Kaitlin wanted to bake so she made banana bread (most of it by herself)....I just had to supervise. ;) And it turned out yummy so she was happy.

Star: sounds like you had a good shopping day. that always makes my day too.

E: like to say Im happy for you about the Browns but sorry.......my black and gold blood just wont let me do that!;) I am going to the game next weekend against them! But I'm glad your dinner was nice! :teeth:

Steph: sounds like you are back to your smart aleck normal ...lol....my bill is in the mail now! ;) ::yes:: :teeth:

Mike: thanks for the link, glad you had fun.

Carolyn:  I hope all goes well with you.

Lars: are we getting a Matthew update?

MP: hope you get to see a good movie!

Bethany: saw your scrapbook pages on the Craft board! they were awesome! I am going to steal...er ..I mean ...borrow ...some of your ideas!

Well, have a good night everyone.

:teeth: :wave2:

P.S. anyone else notice how quiet it is without LK? ;)

Donna, my co-worker who sits behind me is a big Pitts fan as well. Of course I have to admit, when I hear black and gold all I think of is my wonderful high school colors (which, I was told, also lost this weekend badly thanks to some fellow church members  not been a terribly wining weekend for the locals here)

We're home and had a great time. Once again there were more Red Sox fans in Baltimore than Oriole's fans. They were calling the stadium "Fenway South"!!!

The Sox won 3 out of 4 games and now head to Anaheim for the first round of the playoffs. Let's hope the "Angels in the Outfield" are there for the Sox this time!

Our friends made a banner and the kids made it on our local TV broadcast of the game!!! We taped it and just watched it, they were so excited!

We almost barged in on Carol on Friday when our friends truck started leaking transmission fluid - right in Elkton where we stopped for gas! Luckily a local mechanic gave it a temporary fix that didn't interrupt our travels.

No time to catch up tonight - too tired! Hope everyone is well.

Glad you had a good trip, Gail.

I want a piece of Kaitlin's banana bread. I love it!

What a relief that there was no bloodshed at Luis and E's house. I was a little worried I might see it on the news. ;)

I've heard of Echo shoes, but I don't think we've ever had any. Sounds like a good deal, though. Are you going to Texas next weekend, Star? We are not. We didn't get tickets this year, so we're spending our fall break in Branson. Figured we can watch it on TV there as well as at home.

Allen and I went to a little Mexican restaurant for dinner. We had a room all to ourselves, so it was a nice, quiet meal. It's good to get to talk, just the two of us sometimes. Then we came home and did dishes and a load of laundry. :o I mean, we washed some clothes. :teeth:

David's weekend went well. He said the youth event was well received and uneventful. That's good with you are talking about senior high kids, I guess. Now they start planning the one for next year in San Antonio.

Carolyn, sorry to hear about your DH's termination
I hope something good comes along for him!

Welcome Back Gail!

MP, I love Mexican!::yes:: Especially chicken enchiladas!

SB, Did Shannon gets lots of great gifts? It's so much fun watching their little faces as they rip them open!

I took my mom to see "Ladder 49" today. It was Great.
(Make sure you take tissues)

Billy got the 2 skylights installed in our future bedroom. It'll be nice to lay in bed and stare up at the stars!

The skylights sound lovely. I was thinking that the trailers for ladder 49 looked good. We didn't get to the movies tonight, so maybe soon. We couldn't seem to agree on a movie we both wanted to see. By the way, I had chicken enchiladas tonight. It's one of my favorites, too.

My toe is feeling better. I learned how to work this fancy treadmill, so maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Amy has to be at school about 20 minutes early tomorrow in costume and full make-up, due to the play performances. She has two or three during the day tomorrow and one tomorrow night. Anyhow, guess I'd better head to bed. Will have to be up and around earlier than normal.

Good Morning! :teeth:

Freezing here today.....had to turn on the heat!
I have been up since 5 because my work called me to see if I wanted to come in today!  I really hate when they do that!
I can't work today......I am going exchange shopping!
Priorities, you know! ;)

Have a good day!

Good Morning:wave2:

Matthew Update~The boy seems to be doing quite well......he's still pretty scraped up & bruising & his cut looks yucky but he's being very tough!

Good morning all! Pulled out the gloves when I drove in this morning :( I would rather be at home curled up somewhere warm instead of here! Oh and my baby turned 4 today... I can't believe we've already had her that long!!

Gail, glad you made it home safely!

I agree Sandi, the skylights sound so nice!!

Missy, I hope all goes well for Amy with her performances at school

Meg looks beautiful in that dress!!

I love the pictures Laura, she's beautiful!!!! Hope Matthew's recovery is fast. :D

E - is that the secret to making your spaghetti taste so good?:teeth:

Gail - sounds like you had a great time in Baltimore. did you walk around Inner Harbor?

Sandi - i was wondering if that movie was any good.

Lars - Meg looks soooooo beautiful and soooooo grown up!!

Donna - i still can't bring myself to turn the furnace on.

Star - i've never heard of Echo shoes. glad you got great deals shopping.

I think i've recovered from Shannon's party, although we have tons of food left - i couldn't give it all away. She got some great gifts - a talking vanity (which has no volume control!), LK got her the Lizzie McGuire (sp?) movie which i'm sure we will be watching when she gets home from school, more Disney Princess stuff, clothes, and much more. At least I won't have to clean for a couple of days.

I love Megan's dress! She looks so grown up. :D

Carolyn, I hope your DH is able to find something else quickly. :(

I just turned on the heat here, too. Brrrrr!
