I fixed extra ground beef a couple of days ago. So I'm making soft tacos for dinner tonight. It's easy and David and Amy love it.

The new band director wasn't too bad. He makes them play the fight song painfully slow. Hopefully that won't be forever. If anyone made a mistake on a piece they had to start the music over. David says that's going to get real old! LOL! Oh and he also says they'll stand at attention and recite together "The strength of the pack is in the wolf and the strength of the wolf is in the pack!" at the end of every single class. Pretty deep, I guess. The kids are all going huh? The administration told him that there would not be a special enrollment time for band members, so he'll have to live with the kids being gone for a little while one day.

I just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone. My youngest is off the walls and I don't know how long I'm gonna be able to tolerate her climbing over me to get at non-existent items that she absolutely must locate right this minute in the desk I am sitting at.

How long do think we can keep it up about meow .................

Hey can y'all do me a real big favor... I just got off the phone with my friend Hannah. She is the only one that I am still friends with from gradeschool... her mom taught me art class even in our wonderful Catholic school...

anywho, her mom was just diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer. The good news is that it is stage 0, and they will be able to do a mastectomy and no chemo/radiation, however if y'all could keep her in your prayers, I'd appreciate it. Her mom is a wonderful person... very much a mom figure when I needed one. Hannah lost her dad to liver cancer just months before I lost my mom, and my heart is breaking for her right now. I couldn't even imagine dealing with that... but at least the prognosis is good.
