nah...i wouldn't carol...call in.

Morning Everyone!

Maybe I can catch up to Donna w/ my posts! She has been turning those numbers faster than McDonalds sign.

Hi Val!

MP - LOL at your David story! That'll teach him!

Carol - Just say no!

I'm going to Kennywood today w/ the kids and our sister from Ohio and her family. It looks like it is going to be a hot one, and unfortunately it is also Cheerleader Day. I went on that day a couple of years ago, and swore I would never do it again. The Pirates offered 2 free tkts and a catered dinner for today, so I guess I'm going.

Is it my imagination or is the DIS moving much quicker this morning? Must be the slowdown in the number of PM's sent out.
LK~You are too funny!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I agree with Lars... call in sick. If I had called in sick, I wouldn't have to be doing more of this rush work stuff...

at least they aren't giving it to us at 2 PM... and I am able to stay as late as neccesarry today so no worries there either.

Lorraine, I hope that despite the heat and the cheerleaders you can have a good time today!

Back to work...

Carol.....another vote for JUST DON'T GO!!!::yes::

SB - Have fun today! Good Luck with the Cheerleaders!:cheer2:

I hear Lou is getting a lot of work done today.
No kidding. Real work is far less work than reading PMs work!

I am sitting here in shock right now. Lorraine just called and said that a woman we used to work with dropped over dead yesterday. We don't know any details yet. She took over my A/P job when I had Logan. :(

 LK & SB

After the sad news on the DIS last week I know exactly how you feel......:(

Edited to add SB

LK and Lorraine, I am very sorry to hear about your co-worker.

:(

The public schools in our area started today. Lela and Abigail will begin next Tuesday.

We had a get-together for the parents of 1st graders Saturday morning at our house. It was nice to meet some of the new parents and see the kids before school starts.

Everyone brought food, the weather was perfect, and we had a slip and slide and sprinkler set up.

What more could you want? :teeth:

Never with the parents from my child's school!

I save that for church!

LK & Lorraine, I am so sorry

Ok, that explains the "adult" classes you are teaching.... :scared1:

Oh I would never do anything inappropriate in a classroom; I'm not that kind of "hands on" teacher.

My goodness, what are y'all thinking?

I told you I was in the church kitchen at the time!

Better than the laundry room, eh?

I'm back from the high school. We spent about 2 hours standing in line, just to check out the same uniform he wore last year. I also wrote a check to buy new marching shoes. It was an exciting morning. I could have done it all in 10 minutes. Camp begins in about an hour. Won't see much of him this week.

I think Alan's class sounds very educational. ;) Sounds like a nice gathering on Saturday. It's always nice to get to know the other parents and it gives the kids a jump start at making friends, too.

Sorry about your co-worker, LK and SB. That is terrible. Have fun at the game today, SB. It's not too hot here, but someone is bound to turn up the heat now that band camp is beginning. Those poor kids bake to a golden brown while they're marching.

Lou, I'm clueless. I haven't been checking the Community Board much since the computer is ailing. Please tell me the sad news from last week.

Carol hasn't said anything lately. Did she go to work? Or maybe she took our advice, called in sick and just went shopping?

I better go. I need to go get Mom's newspaper and I promised a friend of David's that I would copy David's music. He lost his over the summer and he plays the same trumpet part that David does. With this new leader he didn't want to admit he misplaced the music. Smart kid. So to Kinko's I will go, tra la.
