We have a meeting at Kevin's school this AM with the speech teacher and regular teacher. Then I will spend my day getting ready for my girl scout meeting here tonight. We are all picking a place to travel to......(guess where mine is: ) ..........and we have different activities to do for our places. So it should be a fun meeting for them.


MP: the actual test does not take a long time....it just depends on how many people are on the schedule and how long you have to wait your turn. (then the waiting to be discharged part at the end). Hope all goes well for you! You can always look for more crockpot recipes for the rest of us to keep you busy! ...............Have any more good chicken ones?

You know, I don't know what size my crockpot is. My mom got me a new, larger one a year or so back. It's one of the ones with the liner that lifts out. I still have a normal-sized, older one, too.

Yes, I have chicken recipes. I'll check my recipe file later and type up a few more.

Right now, I need to shower and get my act together. I'm hospital-bound later this morning. DH decided to take the day off, so I don't have to worry about getting Amy from school or taking her to ballet. I just have to try to stay awake in the waiting room. LOL! Thanks for the good wishes for my mom. I'll tell her you guys are thinking about her. I think she's a little nervous, since she just lost my uncle to colon cancer.

Sounds like Wonder Boy's mom is just as bad as the coach. That kid doesn't have a chance, does he?

Gail, doesn't the coach have anything to say about this? All of the coaches my kids have had always had team meetings after the games and insisted that, unless the child had somewhere pressing to be, he stay for about 5 minutes. This is just poor sportsmanship and I don't think it should be tolerated, but that is the coaches decision, not yours.

Anyone here watch Gilmore Girls? Sarah and I used to watch it together. So now, as soon as it was over, she called to discuss it. It is really getting good this year.

And Thursday is ER in addition to Survivor. At least I can knit and watch TV so maybe I will get somewhere on Sarah's afghan.
