I'm home!!!! Got "the call" from school. Matt's complaining of a headache and chills. No fever yet. He's sacked out on the couch with several blankets right now. I brought some work home with me but I'm not motivated to do it right now.

SB- When I read the color of Shannon's new dress the first thing that came to mind was that orange is a no-no on St. Pat's day or for any other Irish celebration. Glad you worked that out.

Hey, can I be in the running for that crown....I'm Irish too!!!

Turning out to be a very hectic day. My parents furbaby is really sick and they are at WDW I managed to post about that a few minutes ago before grandma arrived. I was trying to read and catch up but she keeps saying stuff and I am easily distracted and tend to lose track of what I'm reading. I think I read the same post 5 times so I'm going to catch up later. I have to take her to a hair appt in a few anyway. Her schedule had to change at the lasat minute today because I had to take Alex to the vet and she is upset because of it. Schedule changes are bad!! Ok she is requiring my attention so I have to run.

Back from lunch. We all had steak salad. We looked at dessert tray and were tempted but refused! Sue said she was going to Starbucks afterwards but I think she was sneaking off to Marble Slab to get ice cream!!!

Darn, the camera broke so I can't post the pictures! Maybe next time
but I won the pillow fight!

My SIL, BIL & 2 nieces are supposed to leave for WDW on Friday & both their girls (4 & 1) are sick she's at the pediatrician now....I hope they get better quickly!!

AA~I think it's great that you're buying LHOTP DVDs for your DD to have as she grows up....very thoughtful Daddy!!!

Bethany~That countdown is very cute! Almost as cute as Sam!! He'll have such a great time in WDW! Comcast is my cable co too & we aren't thrilled with them either.

Remember the Japanese television series I mentioned?

The American offices are based in New York, but they have worked down here in the past when they wanted a southern setting.

They are recreating a prison break that was done in Florida where the wife of an inmate hijacked a helicopter to force it to land in the prison yard and get him out.

I have been called to play the role of a homeowner who hires the hijacking wife (in part of her background) as a babysitter.

Who says I'm not a good judge of character?

Lars - Hope Scouts goes well, I bought some pumpkin seeds the other week in a fit of impulsivness. Lord only knows where i will grow them LOL (our new house has an all-but-a-few-small-beds paved garden!)

Also, LK, I forgot to say that I never really thought about the fact its a weekend LOL, just the way it turned out w/ the days we could get off work etc. But if it helps me meet more of you, so much the better!

Any further hints on a good place to get a hotel? ie which area?

Actually, we suspect that you really burp, scratch and have match flame contests when men aren't around.

As for seeing the TV show..only if you are in Japan. Most of the limited screen work I have done has been for areas that I do not receive the programming.

I hadn't even thought of that. Tournament play is actually happening now but he's not interested. He slept for about 2 hours and when he woke up he had 101 degree fever.
Other than when he was really sick a few years back, fevers go through him pretty quickly. Keep your fingers crossed!

Lars - hope the nieces are well soon. On our first trip that included EB we were leaving on April 3. We had a blizzard on April 1 and I was stranded in the house because Lew was in Hartford and I couldn't get out to shovel. Matt was 5 and EB was 2 and she had a fever. I paid neighborhood kids to shovel me out so I could get her to the doctor. She took antibiotics while we were in Florida but by the time we arrived she was feeling fine.

My sandwich contained lots of lovely wensleydale cheese (I guess you describe it as salty, creamy and crumbly cheese - YUM) and branston pickle which is a very popular pickle/chutney here in Britain. I missed both whilst living in the States!

As you can see, Wallace and Gromit are wensleydale fans!
