:cool1: 15.5 pounds?! That is AWESOME, Angela! WTG :jumping1:! And you're even doing well while on vacation :D . Hope you enjoy you're exercise today :sunny: .

A new clippe party!! A new clippee party!!:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:
I just love new clippee parties!:teeth: (I just wish I could get one for myself! ) Seriously, you are doing SO awesome! WTG Angela! Keep it up! Glad to hear you were headed out for that exercise - it is SO important!
Build-a-bear suggestion - gift card in the Easter basket! My kids got them in their Christmas stocking. I am planning to go there next Monday with them (they have no school that day). Between their gift cards and our frequent buyer card, I should be able to get out under $20 total!
Okay, Angela, take good care of you! Keep up the good work!

Good morning, everyone!

Thanks for all the congratulations and words of encouragement. You guys are simply the best! ::yes::

I tried throughout the day yesterday to get online and get caught up with everybody's journals, but the internet was against me. I couldn't get the disboards to load. :( Oh well....

I tried pilates for the first time yesterday. It was lots of fun, but I woke up this morning with a lovely soreness throughout my body. That's great, but it's not a good day to be all sore. I'm going to do the WATP DVD this morning to try to work some of that out.

My sister, DD and I are going to the rodeo this evening to catch Kenny Chesney's concert. It should be lots of fun, and I'll get lots of walking in before the show starts.

I'll check back in as soon as time and the internet permits. I hope that you all have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day! :sunny:

wahooooo for you!! i'm so excited for you!

and don't worry about our journals, i knwo the dis has been acting up for me for the past few days too. seems to be back to normal today...i hope :)

have a great time at the rodeo seeing kenny chesney! i myself am not a fan of country music, but i'm sure you'll have a blast! :hyper:

Morning Angela!
Sounds like you have a fun day ahead of you! I hope that you're able to work some of that soreness out from the Pilates. I know that the first time I did Pilates, I felt muscles that I haven't felt in a long time. Whew!

Hope you have a great day today! Take care!

Tracy:wave2:

Angela: Congratulations on the new clippie. It's great!!! And I hope you enjoy the concert. I really like Kenny Chesney myself. I've been listening to contemporary Christian lately, but every once in a while, I'll bop over to a country station (especially when I'm driving by myself, since DH doesn't really like it)!

:wave2: Hi Angela,
I hope the concert and rodeo were a lot of fun! The first day I did the Pilates, I felt sore in my ab region too. Believe it or not, what helped to make it feel better was to do it again. Not like I'm an expert or anything, (since I've only started doing it this week) but you may want to try that if you're still uncomfortable. Hope today is a great one for you :sunny: !

Kenny Chesney?! OOHHH AAHHHHH! I LOVE that man! Is he sexy or what?! You girls who don't follow country don't know what your missing!!!!!:lovestruc
Hope everything is going well for you Angela. I feel terrible that I haven't been by your journal for so long. DIS has been working against me too!:( Well, I have to say the soreness IS a good thing - it means you are using muscles more or better than you usuaully do. And that is how you tone up. Val is correct, the best thing for the soreness is to keep on working those same muscles - but don't overdo!!!! You don't want an injury to derail you from your routine!:Pinkbounc
Take good care of you Angela! I hope you are having :sunny: days!

Hi everyone!

The kids and I returned home yesterday evening. We had a wonderful time with my parents, and it's probably going to take a few days before things are back to normal around here. At least now I'll be able to post daily and get up to date with everyone's journals. I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to keep up last week. I really missed everyone!

Sharon--I can't go another minute without agreeing with your assessment of Kenny Chesney. He is absolutely gorgeous. The concert was great, of course. Our seats were 2nd row, center, so we couldn't have gotten a much better view. Now I just have to bide my time until June when my all-girls weekend includes seeing him live 3 times. I can't wait! :teeth:

Val--Thanks for the info about pilates. I did do the workout again a few times, and it was much better. I guess I was just surprised that I was so sore after a mere 20 minutes. Guess that's what makes it a good workout choice.

Tracy, Lisa, and Marcia--Thanks to you all for the well wishes and encouragement. I truly do appreciate it. ::yes::

I'm looking forward to getting back on the treadmill this evening. I really did miss it last week, and I NEVER thought that would happen. I'm also back to counting points after spending last week following the diet my parents are using. I ended up eating way more than I would have if I'd been counting points (at least it seemed that way to me), but I did manage to lose another pound. That brings me to a grand total of 16.5 pounds since March 1st! :Pinkbounc :teeth:

Well...I'm off to get caught up on as many journals as I can before DS wakes up from his nap. Hope that you all have a wonderful day!

~Angela :wave2:

2nd ROW???!!!! Did he see you drooling? I know he would have seen my big gaping mouth!!:p Seriously, that is one F-I-N-E looking man! And, boy can he sing! His songs are wonderful. I think that is probably a big part of his appeal for me - ya know the song about the Good Stuff? Makes me melt!:teeth:
Okay - another pound gone?! AND WHILE ON VACATION?!!! Angela, you rock girlfriend! Good for you! you are doing so awesome - keep it up!!
Hope you are settling down to your routine. I know with little ones, getting back to the regular schedule can sometimes be tough. Make sure you take good care of you!

Hi guys!

Sharon--Unfortunately, since the concert was a part of Rodeo Houston, the stage was a good 50 yards away from the first row. He did wave at my daughter, at least that's what she says. ;) I agree with your take on his music. He reminds me of the guys I grew up and went to college with, and he's oh so easy on the eyes. ::yes:: I could go on and on so I'll just stop now...

I took DS back to the doctor for an ear check yesterday, and they're both still infected. The doctor says they're looking better, but we still have to do another round of antibiotics. I purchased an Ear Check while at my mom's, and his left ear had cleared by last Wednesday. I foolishly quit checking it then, so I'm not sure when the fluid moved back over there. They don't seem to be bothering him at all, which is a good thing. I'd just be sick if they were hurting him all the time.

DD is having a wedding at her school this week. The pre-k class is uniting "q" and "u", since they can never be apart. I've been asked to make the wedding cake, so it could be quite interesting! :earseek: Keep your fingers crossed that it comes out looking half-way decent!

I didn't get on the treadmill yesterday. My hats off to everyone that can work out while they're sick. I've got a head cold or something, so I ended up in bed shortly after DH got home with DD from soccer practice. It sure felt nice sleeping from early evening until 6am! ::yes:: I WILL exercise tonight, though. If I keep putting it off, I'll never do it...breathing problems or not!

Here's the lowdown on yesterday's food...

3/22/04:
B--1 cup orange juice--2 points
L--WW Fiesta Chicken--4
S--Nutri Grain Minis--3
S--Yoplait lemon meringue whip--3
D--hot dog w/baked tostitos & salsa--9
S--2 chocolate mints--3.3

Total points used: 24.3

 Hi Angela,
Just stopping by to wish you luck on that wedding cake :D ! It's a cute idea. I think we've all been slacking in the exercise dept. lately. At least I know I have. Hopefully we'll all get back on track and start fresh today. Hope you have a great day :sunny: !

Good morning everyone!

Val--Thanks for stopping by and wishing me luck on the wedding cake. I'm going to start making the flowers this afternoon. It should be very interesting! I keep telling myself that it's not a real wedding, but I still don't want the cake to look like a 3-year-old did it. :p

I didn't exercise again yesterday. This cold or whatever it is is just completely wiping me out. Our treadmill is in the living room, and I swear that it's yelling at me now! Hopefully I'll feel better this afternoon and can get back on track.

Other than the lack of exercise, yesterday went well. I feel so much better now that I'm counting points again. I'm just too anal to wing it at this point! I discovered the WW giant fudge bars last night. They're so good...and only 1 point! DD has already snagged one of them so I think they're going to have to be hidden!

I hope that everyone has a good day! I'm off to catch up on those journals!

3/23:
B--2 slices wheat toast w/butter spray & orange juice--3 points
L--Grilled cheese, baked tostitos and salsa--4
S--peanut butter crackers--4
D--2 fat free hot dogs & baked ruffles--8
S--WW giant fudge bar--1

Points used: 20 (4 below minimum--oops!)

Hello Angela! Sounds like you are doing pretty well getting back on track after vacation. We've made that pact, so you WILL exercsie today!;) Seriously, do as much as you can, but some is always better than none!
May I just say I LOVE your new picture by your name!:smooth: :lovestruc Maybe some of the other girls will see what my drool is all about now!:teeth:
Keep up the good work with the food. You are doing awesome with staying OP. Just make sure you eat enough. Sometimes your metabolism slows down if you don't eat enough. I know its hard with a cold; I don't eat as much when I have a cold. But try to get your minimum pts in for the day!::yes::
Hope you have a great day today!!:sunny:

Good morning Angela!
I hope that you are feeling better today. I wouldn't worry about the exercise too much. Just listen to your body and take good care of yourself so that you can start feeling better soon.

I know what you mean about the treadmill yelling at you to exercise.::yes:: My FIRM videos stare me in the face on a daily basis and encourage me to get up and get moving.;) Of course some days I don't listen too well.:teeth:

I hope that your DS is feeling better soon too!:wizard: and prayers are being sent his way for a complete and total healing.

That wedding cake to unite "q" and "u" sounds so yummy! What a creative and fun idea!

Have a great day Angela! :sunny: Take care!
