EDIT: BTW I loved Bo Bice on AI... really did not like his CD the more I listened to it. I was neutral on Carrie and I kind of like her CD.

If Ms. Pickler did a blues CD, I'd probably download a song or two. Chris is great but I don't think he's any better that any other rock screamer. I do love the genre though. I think Mandisa might be the only really consistent singer in the group but not better than Aretha or Melissa Ethridge who I really adore. None of them is unique except maybe Taylor and I agree that he's pretty much 'the drunk Dad at the reception who can sing.'

I would buy Taylor's CD in a heart beat - his is probably the only one I wold consider. I guess he has one out in a few local stores- I keep meaning to call and see if they would sell to me over the phone.

As much as I love the show, I never buy cds and rarely listen to music on the radio. I prefer talk radio.

ok..i dont see peoples love for chris and pickler. I find Pickler annyoing and playing the "Jessica Simpson Do-Buffalo-Have-Wings" card way too much. Shes like mini-Underwood. Chris just gets on my nerves. His voice is way rough....and he never truly steps away from the alternitive trying to act scream-o sound. He ruined I walk the Line IMO. I thought that even if he was going to make it his own, i thought of a bunch of other ways then turning everything he sings into "Nickleback" Bucky..well I like the way he talks..i can only understan every 3rd word..it cracks me up. Mandisa is the one who i think is the best. She comes out sing any kind of music..and it sounds good. I also think it'd be good for Idol's image if it wasnt just "the skinny, pretty, popular" girl won. Elliots teeth bother me..but i do think that he is OK...and Ace is just hot..he has a good range though..I think he's playing the competition as Paula Simon and Randy are still judging and thats going to hurt him. Paris..yeah..i dont like her..her grandmoms a star..and shes on American Idol....I think they make too big of a deal over her..I dont think that shes all that great. I do like Lisa Tucker...they bash her way to much....but shes a def. threat to Paris. And Hicks...wow...just wow...I have no words to say about him other then...never dance like the past 2 weeks again. And the Katherine her Come Rain or Come Shine..no..it wasnt good..after 4 years of voice and listening classes...I can really say that it wasnt good..and I have no clue what Simon was listening to.

ok yeah..so there are my idol feelings on those who stick out..I think some people will stay in the back to avoid being cut..but that will only cause them to be cut.

IMO, Chris is totally milktoast, vanilla alternative...and there are far too many of him glutting the market right now.

Now I know that I'd buy anything Katharine had for sale...and you do know what I mean...anything...wait, she's 18, right? OK, cool...ANYTHING!!!!

I probably wouldn't buy any of their cds. I like the show and I call in and vote and all of that, but when the shows over, I just don't care anymore. I don't feel like anyone has anything really original to offer.

I must be in the minority on this one because I'm a rocker, always have been, always will be - I hate COUNTRY MUSIC with a passion but I like Bucky a lot.

I like that uncoached, raspy voice - he could sing anything and I would like it, LOL!!!

I just hope and pray that Bucky picks a song that really shows off his vocal range next week - it's there but I don't think we've seen the best out of him yet.

In fact, I read an article today from his hometown paper that quoted his family as saying since he's made the top 10 and Idol tour (which was his goal from the beginning) that America will now see a more relaxed Bucky - I can't wait!

First, I've gotta admit chances of me buying a whole CD of any of them are pretty slim - but I might pick up a song or two on I-tunes. So that's what my response is based on.

Ace - Only if he really stepped it up. I liked Father Figure... nothing since.
Bucky - Probably not
Chris - I like watching him perform - but probably not.

I really based it on their voices (well, except Ace... he's there because I thought he had the potential to be HOT early on)
I don't know that some of my picks (that would be the maybe's) are 'the whole package' but I think they all have the voices to come up with something worth listening to.

Funny thing is I bet the next AI is one of my probably not's.
