Andromeda's Family Trip Day 1 Part 2

When: January 23-26
Where: Pop Century
Cast: Me - 24 DH David 26 DS Corey - 13 DS Michael - 2
My Mom - 51 DH's Mom Nikki - 52 DH's Dad Mike - 52

After eating at 50's Prime Time cafe we decide to take Michael to do something he will enjoy. We decide on
Muppet Vision. This was the first time he had ever seen a 3-D show. We normally skip them because my
husband is blind in his right eye and can't see 3 dimensional, but he said he wouldn't mind going this time
with Michael. It was wonderful to see him jmping and moving as things were flying by his face. Everyone that
was with us enjoyed this show. As we came out of Muppet Vision we saw Buzz, Woody, and Jessie doing a
character greeting and decided to make another go of it with Michael. He still wasn't very keen on the characters
but at least this time he said "goodbye" to Buzz!! After we found our stroller we headed towards PlayHouse
Disney. On the way we passed Sorcerer Mickey's meet and greet and stopped in to say Hi. To our surprise
Michael actually played with Mickey, he even gave him a kiss on the nose before we left. It was so adorable.
As soon as we came out of visiting Mickey we ran into Minnie Mouse, and Michael actually wanted to go see
her, so I wasn't going to say no. He hugged her and kissed her. I was trying to get a picture of them, but
Michael had his back to me, so Mike, my father in law, told Michael to look at me. Well, Michael bolted from
Minnie and ran and hugged my leg, I think he thought that his Papa had told him to "go" to me. Minnie
thought it was hilarious, and so sweet. None of us could stop giggling. What can I say, he's a momma's boy.
Right after Minnie we met PLuto and Michael had no problem talking to him either. It seemed as though things
were looking up after Chip and Bob.

We headed straight for Playhouse Disney. That was also a wonderful show. Michael got to see Bear, Stanley,
and Pooh, but I think his favorite part was all of the bubbles falling from the ceiling. Michael was so worn out
from all of his character greetings that he finally passed out. About time!! Now it was time for the adults to
play. We went straight to Rock'N'Roller Coaster. My mom kept asking me if it went upside down. I knew my
mom would enjoy it once I got her on it, because she really enjoyed dueling dragons at Universal, so I lied
and told her it only had one loop in it. Well we finally get on it and my mom is again screaming like a
banshee, and I could even hear Mike from two cars behind me screaming, "you lied to your MOTHER!!".
They all loved it though so I was forgiven. This is where we split up. David had made it quite clear to me that
he doesn't like the Great Movie Ride and I made it quite clear that I wasn't going to watch the Indiana Jones
Stunt Show, so we split up. My mom, Nikki, Corey, Michael, and I all went on the Great Movie Ride and David
and Mike rode Rock'N'Roller Coaster a few more times.

After that it was about time to get something to eat and get our seats for Fantasmic. Out of all of the times I
have been to Disney since it opened I have NEVER seen Fantasmic. We stopped and grabbed some Turkey
Legs and cokes, and grabbed a really good seat about 6 rows back directly in the middle for the show. This
was quite possibly the best night time show I have ever seen. I loved the entire thing, and couldn't believe I
have missed it so many times. It is safe to say however, that I will never miss it again.

Later I will post day 2!!
