This past weekend my matron of honor and I participated in Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom. It's a 5k with an obstacle course, followed by a scavenger hunt. For our division, we ended up 97 out of 420...not too terribly bad!

So RSVPs are due tomorrow and we still have 36 left to get! GRRRRR. I am so frustrated with our families! I just find it so rude that people can't take the time to mail a card that is already stamped and addressed!

1 Month until our Wedding!!


Our RSVPs were due today. After having our families hunt people down (and having them tell us that we should just mark some people as no's since we haven't heard anything from them) we have only 1 family, 5 people left! DF's uncle wrote me an email talking about airfare prices and how he hopes they go down and he'll hopefully let us know tomorrow. Umm, hello! You've known about this since January! They aren't suddenly going to go down in 2 days! But I wrote to him and politely told him that I understood, but that I needed his decision by noon on Thursday since I have to turn in my final count that night. Geez!

So we invited 168 people, and right now we have 92 yes-es and 71 no-s. I have a feeling that the other family is gonna be a no, so we'll have 94 people including us.

Thats a lot of people who said no, but honestly, I'm okay with that since it means that I won't really have to cut too much from my BEO (which is due Friday!!)

I know! People just astound me some times! And I'm really happy with our number. A little sad for DF because there are definitely gonna be more people from my side there, but we're not gonna do the whole "Bride side/groom side" thing, so it should be okay!

The race is a lot of fun! You do 3 obstacles during the race...this year it was jumping over hay, a tire run and then you could choose between climbing a cargo net or crawling under a net at the end.

I definitely thing your husband could do it! My best friend and I aren't really runners. We just started after I got engaged in December, because I wanted to get in shape. I run about twice a week, and only 3.1 miles each time. I usually run two minutes, walk one minute (although at Expedition Everest, we ran the first mile without stopping...the first time I've run that long without stopping!) But I am definitely not a runner...I hate running! I just love the events...they're so fun. And there are a lot of walkers too. As long as he can walk a 16 minute mile, he'd be good.

I'm so jealous you do the Princess Half Marathon! I wish I could run that much but I think I would die! We are thinking of trying to find a 10k next year to do, but a half marathon is still twice that!

Congrats on the 1 month mark! You're 5K pics have inspired me to sign up for stuff after we're married. My sister thinks I'm crazy but I think if I sign up for something then it'll make me do it. It's also an excuse to go back to Disney through the year!

I love reading your updates and makes me realize how far behind I am on my PJ. Oh well, I'll try to catch up this weekend. Can't wait to read more!

Soooo...I added 3 more things to the BEO and we'll be paying our final payment tomorrow.

I get to have:

Cinderella Carriage GOBO on the dance floor

Purple, Lavendar, and Gray lanterns in the Whitehall room for the cocktail hour (Sooooooo excited about this one!! I tried to have them for my shower, and then tried to have floating ones for my staged exit and am so glad to get to have these!!!)

And I get to have the ice slippers with the sorbet and purple light! We are going to have them come out during "Be Our Guest". I can't wait!

I can't believe we only have a little over 3 weeks. And with the end of the school year being the same week (who picked this date?? Oh yeah, me! What was I thinking!) I have SOOOO MUCH TO DO! So stressed out and feel like I won't get everything done at school or home either!

If you dont mind my asking, how much was the slipper? I think that is such a PERFECT and subtle touch for a disney wedding! I cant wait to see pictures and how everything turns out! Its going to be awesome!!

Woohoo! Our ceremony starts at 7:30 if you happen to be there then or right after

Also, one of our room blocks was GF if you need a discount...feel free to try under our name (we met our room block numbers but I think they should still give discounts after)...they would be under Mason/Howell wedding. And how exciting about your site visit!
