Andrea & Kory's 6/11/11 Wishes Wedding--WP&GF Ballroom**Updated 8/15 Ann. Pics Last!

So after the rehearsal, we headed over to Bahama Breeze for dinner. Now I have to be honest. I did NOT want it there. I wanted it somewhere on Disney property but DH didn't and since his family was paying for it, off property it was.

But it turned out to be perfect. We sat outside on a little patio all to ourselves. It was so nice. The food was really good too. Each table shared an appetizer plate of coconut shrimp, veggie quessadillas, and spinich dip. Each person got a caesar salad and then a choice of entree of steak, catch of the day, or jerk chicken pasta. I got the pasta and the dish was HUGE! I ate it that night and then two nights this week! There was also a dessert selection of cheesecake, a chocolate cake, and key lime pie. I also had a suprise ordered for Kory--a groom's cake from It's Tasty Too! He was so suprised and it turned out wonderfully!

Oh yeah, and I don't know if its the dress or the way I did my hair that night, but my head looks so huge in all the pictures!

Our last night as non-married people

Me and my bro (loved that he wore my colors for me since he spent the whole engagement complaining that purple was a girl color and he didn't want to wear it)

One of my flower girls (who suddenly was too cool for the whole wedding thing. When we asked her sister, who's 6 if she was excited, she was all smiles. When we asked her if she was excited, she just shrugged her shoulders. Oh to be almost 9 again!)

My ring bearer (he's a little terror. At the welcome dinner and that night at the rehearsal dinner, he was going around pinching and giving people burns. One of my bridesmaids had to tell him that he couldn't bruise the bride. I gave my brother strict orders to make sure he behaved during the ceremony. But he was sooooooooo good at the ceremony and recpetion!) Oh and ignore DH's closed eyes

I get so excited every time I see you've posted new pictures! I can't wait for more!

So on Saturday, I met up with my bridesmaids at Kona Cafe for breakfast, my treat. The flower girls were invited, but they wanted to go to their pool instead.

Our waitress brought out a little something special for me

Then I had to run back to my room, and pack up to move to the room we'd be staying at that night. It was conceirge level, magic kingdom view. I was hoping for the turret room, but that's okay. Our wedding was late, but I'm sure the view from the room is amazing during the fireworks.

Then we headed down to the conference center to start getting ready. Ladies, if anyone is having their reception in the ballroom, check out having the Key West room to get ready in. If no one has booked it two weeks out, you get it for free. My dad brought in sandwiches, soda, cheese, and wine. They provided a full length mirror. We had 12 of us getting ready and 5 ladies doing our hair and makeup and there was plenty of room!

Here is the marquee in the conference center (there were tons of weddings that day and several cocktail hours in the whitehall room. I wanted to peek out and say hi to the other brides that walked by, but I was politely told that while I might like to say hi to other brides on my big day, other brides might want to imagine that they are the only bride around. Oh well)

Honestly, I have no idea about Texas de Brazil. I've eaten there once and it's a TON of food and good (DH loved it!) but I'm not sure they have a separate room. If they do, or have somewhere where they can seat all of you, then I think it would be a great choice!

So here are some pictures of us dressed and ready to go!

Okay, so here's the part I hate writing about. My bouquet. Unfortunately, it was the only thing that I didn't like about the wedding. I had asked for purple roses, which in my mind meant dark purple.... Unfortunately, what we got were kinda pink.

Here's a picture of my mom handing me the bouquet for the first time. I remember thinking "these aren't purple!" (but my mom's face is too cute!)

Here's a close up of the bouquet.

Thank goodness they're turning out to look a little purple in pictures. But anyways, Elizabeth has been my favorite person to work with throughout the process and I did not want to tell her that I didn't like the flowers. But my mom and bridesmaids kept saying I had to. So my mom went and got Elizabeth and she asked what was wrong and I told her that I had wanted darker purple roses and showed her a picture (which I should have shown her at the PJ...so this was all totally my fault). She told me that roses don't come in that color so that had to be fake flowers or spray painted. I told her that I felt like I was being a Bridezilla and she told me I wasn't (I kept saying this all night..my bridesmaids kept trying to reassure me that if I had thrown the bouquet at her, then I would have been a Bridezilla but I just felt so bad). Elizabeth told me that she was having the floral department spray paint roses for me and would have them at me and DH's first look. She was so on top of it right away, wanting everything to be perfect. When I saw the new bouquet, they only had time to spray paint the tips of the roses, so it was still mostly white. Plus I realized that DH's boutenierre was the pinkish color as well as the bridesmaids bouquet and my brother pointed out that the pinkish one was more drastic against my dress so would stand out more so I decided to just stick with the pinkish one. Then I really felt bad for having her make up the other bouquet. This while situation was my fault. I should have shown her a picture instead of just assuming all purple roses were like the ones I want. I'm just so glad that she was so willing to try to make it all perfect!

Anyways, on to more pictures!

I hope I'm not boring you guys with all these pictures and dragging everything out! I just have so many pictures and am excited to share them!

I, for one, am not at all bored - I could look at wedding pictures all day!!!
What a stunningly beautiful bride you were!!! I think your bouquet was gorgeous, and it really does look quite purple in the photo, but I am sorry you were disappointed!!! I had to laugh when you said that it was taken off to be spray painted. I just kept thinking of that song in 'Alice in Wonderland' - 'We're painting the roses red' (or in your case purple!!!) :lmao:

I think that bouquet was beautiful!!!
And you looked BEAUTIFUL as well!!!

Not bored at all!! It's lovely to see-- more please!

Gorgeous! Stunning! Wonderful!

okay, so we were all dressed...off to the Grand Floridian's lobby for the first look. Now in my mind, and what'd I'd read about, a first look is just between the bride and groom (and photographer of course). I figured that there would random guests around. What I didn't plan on was pretty much our whole families standing there. Ugh. Not quite the intimate moment I was hoping for.

We took a bunch of family pics in the grand and then everyone left to head over to the WP and Regina took some pictures of just me around the lobby. Then one of the parts I had been looking forward to...the carriage!!

They asked if I wanted to ride over by myself and I said "no way" My dad HAD to be in there with me!

I really hope Regina got more pictures of me and my dad!

This is right outside of the bride's vestibule at the WP..I thought it was too cute!

Then Meri came in and told us grandparents, parents, and guys were going to walk in. They told me to stay out of sight, but I couldn't help to keep peeking out of the door. It will be interesting to see if you can see me in the video.

DH has an identical twin. I kept telling them they better not do anything during the ceremony. Well, apparently, when the doors opened, DH's twin was standing first, like he was DH, but then DH stepped around him and walked down. He said Meri looked like she was gonna choke him! Thank goodness I didn't see all that!

That's about the time that I started getting nervous! Up until then I was so calm. I am usually high strung and worry about EVERYTHING but for some reason, I just wasn't stressed out about the wedding (except the weather, which turned out PERFECT!!) I guess I figured Meri had done this so many times, she had it down to a science and there was nothing to worry about. But when the guys started going in, I started freaking out! My shoes were a size too big, and even though my girls had fixed it pretty well, I was so afraid of tripping. And I was afraid of messing up the vows! But neither happened. It was perfect!

Our aisle runner (I said that I wanted the saying 10-15 feet from the end. I guess I should have said beginning because I meant the end, like by the doors, but I got it right by the altar. Oh well, I didn't even notice it til we were walking out)

Eek! It all looks fantastic! I cannot wait to see the rest of your pictures!

Your mother looks absolutely stunning! Do you mind me asking what designer her dress is? I've been trying to find something for my mother and that is exactly what I've been envisioning for her! Or at least something along those lines! =]

I cannot wait to see more! <3

Thank you! My mom was so excited about her dress...she had to find just the right one. I told her it was beautiful and matched the wedding perfectly!

Here's the link to my mom's dress. She said several bridal stores near her carried it. It was Jordan fashions, Caterina line. Her dress was number 6006 in the color "ocean" but its really silverish

Me laughing really hard because apparently when they set up our unity candle, they TAPED the candles in there and DH couldn't get them out! It took long enough for me to think "Oh crap" and form a back up plan of the candles on table that our parents had used that were already blown out
