Can't believe some people are changing flights, vacation plans, etc on the words of someone they dont even know. All i can say is that if all these rumors (and thats what they are) are not true come tomorrow, then danny25 will have to join the witness protection.

Does the dates of FD in 2012 mean that the resort expect those dates to be slower? For example, March 25-31. It seems like that is in the middle of Spring Break for some parts of the country.

No it means, if it's true, that you'd need to call Disney when it's released and have them add the discount to your existing reservation.

If I'm reading it right since you are staying deluxe you will get the regular dining plan for free. If you stay at the values you will get the quick service for free.

SWEET. I REALLY hope this is true.

We just booked our dining reservations today.

Last January we were at WL at the same time and had 40% deluxe or FD and the 40% was obviously better for us.

Doubt we're going to get that kind offer this year but FD would essentially cover our plane tickets and make me feel MUCH better.

What happened to Disney cutting back on the discounts?

If this rumor is true, it's less dates than the past year. Plus, from Disney's perspective, free dining is a cheaper discount than a generous room discount in most cases. (If they give a steep room discount, and then the family chooses to eat cheaply, they get very little revenue from that family).

Bummer and I am going Jan 4 - 14th. I guess I will have to do 2 ressies one from Jan 4 - 8 then 8 - 14th.

Now my question is can I do room only from Jan 4 - 8. From the 8 - 18th do 10 day park hoppers but activate them on the 4th????
