Through travelers using I-85 during the weekends face the possibility of being slammed twice by road construction, once on either side of Atlanta. The repaving of a 4-mile, 10-lane stretch of I-85 between Ga. 120 and Old Peachtree Road is not scheduled for completion until October.

I love my paved roads but find it very frustrating to be in traffic when I'm trying to get to the happiest place on earth.
