I think it would be fun to play a game together. Sort of an "Amazing Race" kind of game in the campground. To make it fair, each family that wanted to participate would come into the game with 5 hunting ideas, such as:
1) a riddle to find a certain spot in the campground (One we used before was: Smelling food all day, might be really neat
but, in my condition, I cannot eat
10 ft tall, brown and hairy
If I weren't dead, I'd be pretty scary
the answer was the stuffed grizzly bear in the restaurant at Trails End)
Once you found the place in the riddle, you would find a ticket to bring back with you.
2)a question that had to be answered, such as what is the name of the 2nd horse on the right in the horse barn
3)write a list of different state tags on vehicles you find in the campground (you must list the site number and tag number so the "judges" could verify your list)
4) list an item on the scavenger hunt to be found (for example, it could be a cocktail napkin with the resort's name on it)
These are just examples of ideas that could be used so you can get the idea. let me know if anyone is interested in playing the game. We could even make it interesting like $10 for each family that wants to play to have a prize for the winning team.
