Anaheim to Universal - How long will the drive take on a Sunday

We will be staying all 11 days of our trip in Anaheim at the new Homewood Suites. How long will it take us to drive to Universal on a Sunday in June? The Early Entry is 7am. We are planning this for our 1st full day of the trip so we will be still on MN time so it will seam like 9 instead of 7.

We planning the same thing but in august. So far maps are estimating about 1 hour and 15 minutes so we plan to be outta there by about 5:15, 5:30 at the latest... But I haven't had a chance to get the traffic estimates at the correct times on Sundays yet. I'm going to check a bunch of them before our trip.

That early on a Sunday it will take you 45 minutes to an hour. Straight up the 5 to the 101. Super easy. How early you should leave depends on what time you get to the gate, but from your hotel you should be driving into the parking in no more than an hour.

Traffic is super light on Sunday mornings, so it's a very easy drive! I live right by Universal and if I aim to be at DLR for rope drop, I give myself an hour to get to the parking lot on Sunday mornings. Since I can't get out the door when I plan to, ever, I'm usually there when I want to be! It takes about 45 mins.
