Nobody has responded yet so here is my two cents...

I haven't stayed at any of these but from what I understand from reading these boards and other reviews, Tropicana is the best of the three. It was recently remodeled and has good management.

If I am wrong about this, someone please chime in.

Some good friends of mine stayed at the Anaheim Plaza recently, and said while it wasn't fancy, it was clean, spacious and very close to the crosswalk. I think it was the best rate they found on Harbor across the street from DLR.

We stayed at the Anaheim Plaza in October. The room was a decent size. It was clean and not too loud. The shower next door was loud in the mornings and you could hear the maid's cart was when she pushed it down the hall, but nothing too bad. The beds were o.k. We were honesly too tired to care. lol The walk to the gates isn't too bad either. Thre front desk staff was pleasant enough but they refused to do an online check in for another guest as we were checking out. They directed her to the PC in the lobby where you pay for access.

We've stayed at Anaheim Plaza and had no problems. I think the rooms in the 400's and up are bigger. Last summer we stayed in the 400's and the rooms were large and had queen beds. This year (March), we were in the 100's and the rooms were smaller with double beds. The pool is nice and big, they don't have breakfast, but do have fridges and micros in the room. There is a restaurant onsite where kids can eat free.

Of your three, the only one I have stayed at is the Tropicana. We loved it. We normally stay onsite but got a very good, last minute deal here and couldn't have been more pleased. Nice, updated rooms that were super clean. The bathroom was especially clean. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and courteous. Room was average size, it did have a small frig and microwave which was nice. The pool area was somewhat small, but the pool was very clean and they had plenty of chairs and towels. They do have a very oversized hottub which was nice. The whole place was kept up nice, the staff was always out and about, cleaning windows, washing down the walkways and it just seemed like this property took pride in itself which was nice. The continental breakfast was free and pretty minimal but enough to get your day going. They had muffins, danish, croissants, apples and oranges, juice, lemonade and coffee. You could purchase small boxes of cereal and one pint bottles of milk for one dollar each (and they provided plastic bowls and spoons if you did). The best part was the location. Less than a five minute walk from the hotel and you were inside the parks. I would gladly stay here again.

My friend and her daughter stayed at the Anaheim Plaza last June and I am staying there with them this June. She said it was perfectly fine, nothing fancy, but clean, and the rooms and pool are very large!

I havent stayed at either of those YET... but I booke the Tropicana for my June trip this year and all the reviews that I have gotten from the Tropicana are very good. I cant really remember one really negative comment. They have a contenental breakfast, clean and very close to the park. So close in fact that its closer then Disneyland parking lots

We stayed at the Tropicana in Mar 2004 and loved the proximity to the parks. The rooms were spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was decent althiough I think you had to pay for milk. There is a convenience store and a gift shop. We didn't use the pool since we never found the time. I'd definitely recommend it. We stayed at Del Sol in March 2006 and the room was extremely spacious. We had a corner room. The room itself was nice and clean. There were heavy rains when we went and water pooled in front of our room. No water came into our room, we just had to be careful stepping into and out of our room. The continental breakfast was basic and decent. We didn't use the pool since we often found ducks swimming in it in the mornings.

We stayed at the Anaheim Plaza in 2005. It was clean, comfortable, and the pool is huge! The walk wasn't bad to DL. We had a room in the front and had a great view of TOT, and we could see the fireworks from our balcony. Although it is a pretty big place, so unless you are in the front, you probably wouldn't be able to see them. We got a great deal, I think it was like $69/night, very hard to beat!
