Anaheim/Buena Park short term housing?

Anyone live in or near the area? Adult DD was cast in a Christmas show late October - January but it doesn't come with housing. Any ideas on housing other than Airbnb - safe areas/ maybe something on a bus route as she isn't old enough to rent a car. We are from the east coast and don't know much about California

I'm not sure how long one can stay at this place, but there's a new hostel in Anaheim. It might be possible to stay there short term. They ask for proof of travel there, which I suppose is meant to keep

Around there, I'd suggest maybe getting an Anaheim Regional Transportation monthly pass. It's a little bit hard to figure out at first, but it's easy once you figure it out. They have a combination of scheduled routes and an on-demand service. My first ride I saw a Disneyland CM using it to get to work along with a visitor. We were using it to get from the Amtrak/Metrolink station to Buena Park - specifically Porto's which is next to Medieval Times and near the Pirates Dinner Show. However, it's rather limited to specific stops and can't just drop people off anywhere. But it's not typically restricted to fixed routes except during peak hours where they're just running lots of people to/from Disneyland on fixed routes.

How is the traffic from say the Anaheim area to Buena Park (Knotts), maybe the beach areas to Buena Park? I am so clueless and trying to book an Airbnb/vbro etc! I may be driving dd back n forth so trying to figure in possible traffic as well as distance. Should I be looking in another direction, say away from Anaheim maybe.... sorry for all the questions.
