Has anyone stayed there and if so, would you recommend it? I am more interested in the Suite (1 bedroom).

I've heard from 1 person that he and his family stayed in one of the suites and they could hear the traffic outside. Apparently the walls are pretty thin.

Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller? Bueller?

I stay in a regular room. Most of the motel is 2 stories, but my room was on the 3rd floor in the very far corner. No noise, but 2 flights of stairs and a long walk. Room was dirty, dark and some lights and electric outlets did not work.

I would not recommend it.

The room was booked through priceline by my sister in law, so I do not now the exact rate -- I'm sure it was cheap.

We've stayed at the Anabella Hotel many times and would do so again. We've been in a small room near the laundry up to the one-bedroom suite in the middle of the complex; first floor and second floor. Never had an issue with cleanliness, noise, or other issues. Easy walk to the parks.

We stayed at the Anabella for our first trip to DL in April of this year. We stayed in a mission suite, which had a small bedroom with a daybed. I thought it was super nice, especially for the price we paid (about $79 a night). I'm pretty picky when it comes to hotels and cleanliness, and I thought it was just fine. Nice bedding, comfy bed, flatscreen tv (1 in main room and 1 in bedroom), granite counters in bathroom-- separate vanity from main bathroom, which is nice for getting ready. Oh, the Tangerine Grill is their onsite restaurant and they had great happy hour specials and a pretty nice breakfast. For us (myself, my husband, and kids in a stroller) the walk was manageable. Really just across the street and down a little ways from the PPH-- and saving $100 a night was way worth the extra 5 minutes of walking!

We stayed there a few years ago and I thought for being just a bed to sleep in, it's was fine. It was spacious in my account....but then again we were all tired and just crashed!

I have stayed there the past few years with a school group. It's not my favorite, but I think it depends on which room you get (the hotel is large and spread out). I was also put in the very farthest back corner, 3rd floor (no elevator). The room was VERY small. Every morning around 6am, the garbage trucks for the convention center backed up right outside one of our walls. And, it was a very long walk to get to the park and back since our room was so far in the back. They also had overbooked for a convention or something, the parking lot was total chaos and many cars were being towed.

This past Feb. I was there, in a different building with a larger room. I still think it's a very long walk. But the room was nicer, larger and quieter.

I didn't use the pool area and only ate at the on-site restaurant once. There is a nice family restaurant next door (Millie's) that we enjoyed for breakfast. The ART stop is right in front of Millie's.
