I am hoping that the parks' opening date of 7/11 was figured with this date in mind, and that it will expire 7/7. NYC has had 0 new hospitalizations and deaths in the last couple days, and the curve has been significantly flattened. This data, more than anything else, has me more hopeful this week not just about WDW but life in general... or at least I'm choosing to focus on this. Today. For information on travelers to Florida: https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/travelers/
The Executive Order was extended to July 7. It will either be extended, allowed to expire or cancelled.

Thank you Deb & Bill, I am aware of the site and the restrictions. I'm just curious if Disney is telling it's guests from those states who are arriving prior to 7/7 that they have to quarantine. How will that work? Do you have to lock yourself in your room and you're not allowed to leave it? Can you go to the pool area if wearing a mask and social distancing? Why is the restriction still on? Is it because of the way the governors are conducting business in those states? I would really like to know what member services is telling guests from those states if they are there prior to 7/7.
Well, it has let me do online check in for my JUly 3rd trip and I have not been contacted by anyone to change things,
Now, I have submitted for DME...twice because I had a flight change and neither time, so far, have gotten the confirmation email.
Even though my guest is from NC, I am lead guest so my address is on it,
I don’t know if this is because I am from NY or because the office is closed and emails aren’t going out for those scheduled that early..
If I don’t get it in a few days, then i wonder if that is one way they will stop people...not letting them on DME.
I have also not read of any cash guests who have said Disney has canceled them out either.
Are you flying non-stop from an airport in NY/NJ/CT?
If there is a transfer (for example in Atlanta), the folks who manage the quarantine will see your trip originated from Atlanta, rather than one of the three affected states.
I am connecting via Charolette now, I was changed via JetBlue To come from JFK and switched,
So, my newest request is a plane coming from there as my friend and I are now meeting there and flying into MCO together.
I am still hoping by July 3rd, it won’t be an issue to get to VGF as it will have ended early.
I think as far as the Florida officials are concerned, you are on a flight from Charlotte to Orlando.
If your flight originated from JFK, than things may be a bit different
Thanks! Not worried about FL because my friends parents and mine both have places so we will head to one of them if VGF ends up being a no go,
Just wondering if not getting something from DME is a clue that will not let guests ride if any have addresses from NY, NJ, or CT.
I think the whole thing is a mess and yes very political. I'm not faulting the governor of FL, if the governors of the states in question aren't confident that their citizens are "safe" to go out why should the governor of FL think anything different. Yes, very political on the part of the governors of NJ, NY and CT.
I'm wondering when MS is going to get around to telling those guests from the states in question that they "are not allowed to enter Walt Disney World Resort hotels" as Starwind said? Are they going to wait until you get there? I certainly hope not, can you imagine driving up to your resort and being turned away? I would be beside myself if that happened to me. I guess if I was planning on going anytime prior to 7/7 I would be calling MS to confirm I'm allowed to be there and what exactly would be required of me.
