I DHS. I just love the old Hollywood feel to it.

Exactly why I really think it has GREAT potential to grow on me too. I'm an over-the-top old movie nut, especially film noire, and do love the vibe of that era. I am hopeful I'll see it in a different light this time around.

I AK, mostly due to the fact it is the ONLY park where I can find The Lion King stuff. When I discoverd FOTLK, I was sold. I find it hard to dedicate a full day there but I guess it could happen if you plan to see and do everything there. Hope you get to see the baby rhino!

First, I apologize for being MIA. I try to check in when I can, but I really don't have the time to read and stay caught up on stuff right now. I hope to in the near future because I miss everyone!

But, I had to stop by and say thank for for the package that arrived today! The mail man knocked on my door and said, "Were you expecting a package from Blank-A-Stan?" and I had to think for a minute. Now I feel like I'm going to be on a watch list by the FBI or something.

It was so sweet of you to send me a prize! I love it! And to prove it, I immediately put the hat on and wore it while I made dinner. It's very comfy.

Sorry for the poor quality picture, but I took it with my cell phone and the flash is so crazy bright!! I'm always blinded for an hour after I use it.

I have blog issues but it's all me and in reality I just can't keep up. I mean to keep up on Kathy's too and comment and am challenged so count me as a sometimes lurker who wishes she was more



I am so sad about your sleep issues! I won't tell you about my new mattress until you get home but methinks you need to go shopping once you are settled. Pillow at a minimum.

I've put FotLK above Nemo in priority to see this time. From what I hear, it's a real whiz-bang show! I can easy see myself spending at least a day there- given I'll be doing a fair amount of sitting and relaxing. The rhino must be on the Safari, right??

I know lots of people read it; it actually had over 70 hits last week when I updated about camels. Honestly, when I posted about my blog and the comments, I was trying to encourage Queenbeaz to NOT give up!! If it's a fun outlet for writing, then there ya go! That's the best place. I wasn't trying to evoke sympathy.

Interestingly, we had some guests over last night... they are on a prayer walk going from Portugal to the east coast of China. I'll tell you more about this in a post later today, but one funny thing ... their son, who is traveling with them for this leg, was doing a blog too, and he shared that he can't get on it here in my city. So, that to me confirms what I'd been thinking all along. They do NOT allow freedom of speech here (at least locally) and that's why I can't get on it the usual way.

Oh no! You're right, we should comment. I will from now on. But I do read it, you know! Read GB's, too.

Rebecca, seriously, if you don't have time, it's no big deal. I'm writing more to get my own stories down on "paper" than to rack up comments. It's hard for me to get on it anyways, so commenting back just can't happen. That's why more of my good stuff ends up here; easier to use, and WAY more interaction.

YAYAYAYAYAY!! You got it!! It looks fabulous on you. But I should have told you.... that's an old man's hat.

NO worries. Again, my aim was to encourage Queen to write like the wind, and not let lack of comments keep her from exercising her right to free speech, which is a particularly tender spot with me right now.

I slept so much better last night. Mostly due to the fact that I was utterly exhausted from all the work of packing and entertaining.

It hurts so good, so to speak. My summer is all about packing and moving. We put the finishing touches on Andrew and Bek's bags today, weighing them to make sure they're under 20 Kilos. Next week, we'll send 6 boxes home via DHL, and then it's down to either stuff we sell or stuff we take.

Oh yes, and dealing with the vultures who would love to see us eat off the floor so they can have new dishes.

I can see the POP pool looking just like that pool from Caddyshack. Total mayhem then someone spotting the dookie floating by and everyone 'running' for their lives!!

You really should read Mrs. The King's TR's on this, if nothing else read it since she's so dang funny. She does put a funny spin on all things concerning the pool....and well, everything else.
