An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

Liesa-
Was gone from the DIS all weekend. Love your pages. I think you should be able to do/see everything!:goodvibes

Maroo-
I think those seats are awesome!!!! How great that you won't be having to look around, over, or under anyone to see the show!!! I'd love to see Cirque someday. :)

Oh Liesa, OW!

But those Cirque tickets and killer seats ought to perk you right up! Though perhaps not literally....

Those are great Cirque seats! :thumbsup2 We were in the 2nd or 3rd row of section 204, and I agree that you can see so much more because some of the action goes on between the 1st and 2nd levels.

Liesa - sorry to hear about the sewer and other painful issues! Hope it all clears up soon!

GREAT seats! I absolutely LOVED that show! Our seats were section 103, end seats, the last row, just in front of your seats. OMGosh, fabulous seats!! We loved our seats too. So happy for you! :goodvibes

What an amazing coincidence!! And I'm so glad you like them!! That's gives us reassurance that we did the right thing! :woohoo:

Cute binders by the way. :goodvibes

Hey Lady! How are you?! Those binders got the TLC of a mother over her newborn baby! ;)

Great seats for the show!!!

Hi Heidi! Been awhile since you've been over here! Welcome back :goodvibes

I think we chose well!

I know how much you like Cirque and thought you'd like to know...a guy in two of my classes did an internship there back in 2003!!

REALLY!? That's great! What did he do?? Was he part of the production itself, or the behind the scenes team?

Morning Tim! It was a pretty quiet weekend, as usual. Which is sometimes good- gives me a chance to catch up on everyone else's threads. :thumbsup2

See, that's the thing to do, when you and Mel get to do that couples trip (at the Poly) someday. ;)

Seems to be SLIGHTLY better today. I think this issue is certainly part of the experience of Hell.

LeeAnn saw a Cirque show in Portland a few years ago, and says it was one of the most amazing things she's EVER seen!!!

Yay!! Another testimonial for the awesome seats we scored!! :woohoo: Only 3 more months of this nonsense, and we'll be rid of most of it! WOOT!

Someone donated a box of Depends to the group home I could send ya some !!!:lmao::lmao:

Pretty sure I'll be needing those as we get closer, and things get more exciting! ;)

Major score on those Cirque seats, maroo!

Liesa, don't they sell Prep H in Blankastan??

I thought those gals turned out lots of kids, too! :rotfl2:

Seriously, though, feel better soon. :flower3:

Kathy

Actually, I had brought some with me (along with my suture kits, IV kits, and everything else one might need), but it's really not doing the trick. I was so hoping you'd see this conversation, Kathy, being an RN. Can you tell me?? Can jogging actually exaserbate this thing?? Some websites say exercise helps, some say it CAN make it worse?? Do you know a sports doc you could ask??

Lots of kids?? Well, do you know that actually give out a MEDAL for ladies who have 5 or more. I am teased all the time about the president coming to town to give me a pretty shining bauble for all my trouble. :lmao: Now adays, most families are only having 1 or 2, even though the economy is VASTLY improved and most can find work.

He was part of the behind the scenes team. But still cool!

It is VERY cool!! So, have you ever seen the show??

I haven't! How lame is that?!

By the way, I updated tonight on my TR!

Not lame at all- it's rather pricey, so I think it'd be hard for a big group or one family to see it.

HAHAHA! We were posting on each other's at the same time!! Go look. :goodvibes

Okay, glad you don't think I'm horrible!

HAHA! I just noticed that! Can you believe it?! I made it to a rope drop! AND I was the first one at our turnstile/spot at the rope!

Never! Ha!

We were there too at RD, but mostly because Disney had changed the hours the night before. They said it was an EMH AM, but when we got there, they didn't open until 9:00. It was horrible waiting with my 5 kids, who were MORE than antsy to go in. Fortunately, though, they brought out Wes Palm, and he entertained them for quite a while to pass the time. They still talk about him.

Hey Mama! I'm good here (since you asked ) and I'm about to head off to bed. I'm up waaay later than I should be. But I couldn't leave without saying hello first. I miss you, are you still 12 hours ahead? With our time change I wasn't sure how that worked out. :confused3

Way to go Maroo!! She rocks! :yay: I hope you all have a wonderful time watching this amazing show! I've not seen it in person, but have watched some pretty cool stuff on t.v.

Gotta go...sorry. Love you my sister. Hugs to my Dis sisters and brothers. :grouphug:

oh...yeah.....

Just was seeming like you needed a little memory jog there. :rotfl2:

Hey Howdy Ho!! yes, you should be in bed! But I'm so glad you popped over to say, "hi", and good night.

I couldn't have chatted anyway; I ended up watching our good friends' baby today, and the little angel was not acting like one. ;)

No, we're 13 hours ahead of CST right now. I think that's what you're in. If not, and you're in MST, then it's 12.

I can not wait to see this show! I need to read up on it a little more, so the story line isn't lost on me. I really want to go in, knowing the big picture- and although it's easy to get lost in the details and individual acts, I want to understand more about waht they are trying to communicate. ::yes::

Moving swiftly along (May, the Month of the Journals, is going to go by all too quickly!) let's take a look at The EPCOT Chapter.

I've broken EPCOT down into:

  • A cover page
  • A Top 10 FW
  • A Top 10 WS
  • WS Hidden Gems
    and
  • Hidden Gems for each country If you know me by now, FW willl get a brief, yet polite, nod, then the remaining majority of my time will be in World Showcase.

The back of the cover page is blank, so has room to expand, if need be, as are the backs of every country page. I'm sure I'll come across a few more tidbits as I make my way through the fun pages over on allears.net. What a treasure trove of info. on there!

By the way.... If anyone is interested, I have a copy of a VERY large document (Word file) of all the "secrets" that we compiled by dcanoli over on the Theme Parks and Attractions Board. PM me if you want me to send it.

Onward... I know this is exhaustive. I am truly sorry. (Well, ok, not really.) Feel free to buzz right on by, and then tell me how great they look anyways. :lmao: (By the way, if you mention my most exceptional photography prowess, you'll get a bonus.)
