I have been looking for a 4th of July TR to get a feel for the crowd levels. (HatTipSummer2014)....Subscribing.

I was very surprised about the crowd levels!

This is exactly what I wanted to see as we are planning a July 4th trip next year. Can't wait to hear about it!

You will love it at that time! I was shocked at how pleasant it was.

Can you fill me in on using your Target Red Debit? I have that....Can I purchase Disney GCs from them and get the 5% off?

Yes, if you have the card you can purchase disney gift cards and get 5% back instantly! You can purchase them because they are entertainment cards.

I do not think so. I have the target CC and it excludes GC purchases in the 5%.

I have read on the boards that it will work on Disney Gift cards. Many employees will say that it doesn't work but when swiped, it will take the 5% off.

Very impressed with your spreadsheet. I do the same thing, though for our next trip up the nerd factor by having the ADR listed in the main tab be a hyperlink to the corresponding menu in another tab. We are going with another family and when I shared this with them they kinda freaked out

oh, and one last question, did those people on the plane really use the term "horsecrap"? If so, that is tremendous and hysterical

When we landed we hurried up and got off the plane so we could get to Disney!

We were almost to the fake-o-rail and I turn around and stare at this girl.

I knew her!!

I was almost positive that it was one of my friends on instagram (chaobabylinda). She is a big disney fan and even got married in disney. Corey was way ahead of me and I didn't want to miss the tram so I just hurried up and met up with him but I was sure it was her!! She goes to disney all the time. She sets up the dis photo a day games on instagram.

So I looked at her most recent pictures and sure enough it was her! Someone was posting about when she would be in Orlando and she said she was at the airport.

So, I sent her a message and told her I just saw her at the airport. Then she sent me one back that said she wanted to meet up. I told her I was already in line for magical express and she said she would be right there. Sure enough about 5 minutes later she showed up and climbed under the ropes to meet me! Haha, it was so funny. She wanted to do a meet up at Disney on the 3rd at MK. She took my number and would text me where.

Corey thought I was crazy at that time- meeting random dis strangers at the airport. Haha.

We got into our Magical Express and we picked the front row! I have never had the front row, I was soo excited!

However, it was starting to rain. BOO!

I posted a photo to instagram:

Rain rain go away!



We got on the way and the sky was really really gray and it was beginning to pour harder.







I made Corey take a picture and of course he didn't look.



Yuck.



We were almost under the gates. It wasn't the prettiest background but still pretty.





Our first stop was at Art of Animation.



While dropping guests off, it really started to storm. HARD! I was bummed at this point.



I also posted a video to instagram. You can click on the picture to watch the video.

Then on the way to POP I decided to post another video. I swear the updates are fewer later on.

It was really raining hard!!!



Luckily we got to POP and were safe under the awning! I felt bad for the people at the bus stops.

However, we were finally home and I was a happy girl.

It has rained a TON in the Southeast all summer. Rainiest summer I can ever remember here. It keeps the heat below 100 though, so that is a plus.

I am so hooked Rachel!!!! I love reading along to get me pumped for our trip!! And how bout those Disney haters? Obviously, I don't get it. It's not like I go around talking about how I hate other places that people choose to go on vacation. It's just strange to me, why anyone would put any kind of energy in saying all that. Especially on a flight to MCO, obvi. they wanted people to hear them so they could be the center of attention. Yawn. Anyway I'd rather keep the grumpy people out anyways.

We basically got right in to check in! I didn't do online check in because I wanted to pay for the room with a different credit card than we would attach to our room. I also wanted our room requests to go in. I requested a room in the 90s I think, which is close to the buses and a non pool view non connecting for the noise.

So when we were checking in she asked for my ID and I couldn't find it! I had a panic attack that I left it at the airport. But, I found it! My purse is literally the most unorganized thing ever so I just threw it in there. I can never find anything.

I asked her if any of our room requests were met and she said there wasn't any room requests on there! Great! However, she told us we were actually in a good building- building 4 and it was non pool facing and non connecting. I decided to take it anyways. Good thing we took it because it was the best location ever!! I think that location is preferred but we didn't request a preferred room.

So we headed up to our room and we just went right up the yo yo stairs to level 4 and there was our room! It was a super short distance. I loved it!

I found a vinylmation window!



The first thing I did before Corey could come in was check for bed bugs. A week before our trip someone posted a picture on instagram of bed bugs at pop century and it freaked me out.

Luckily, I didn't find anything!









I love this scent!



Our room was actually nice. The only issue was there was a dripping sound in the bathroom in the ceiling. It didn't bother us though. It was clean and didn't stink!

I got water delivered the day before from Kelly's Personal Disney Shopper for only $15 so I called down to get it delivered.

It took a little bit so I went out and took pictures.

The pool was completely empty due to the storm.





A lot of my pictures will be doubles that I took on my DSLR and iphone. I wonder if you could tell which is which??

Our water finally got here- reppin' the Aquafina!



We decided to leave to get something to eat then to go to the park. I realized at that point I forgot a purse to take with me in my carry on. So corey was going to have to carry my phone and wallet.

I had a choice of Croc flip flops and tennis shoes. I decided to wear the flip flops since it was a shortened day. You will find out later that is the wrong decision.

I didn't get my tables in wonderland card at DTD so we didn't get 20% off but oh well. Our first stop was to check out POP. They recently re did their menu and I wasn't that crazy over it so we headed to AOA instead. They got ride of the chicken parm alfredo- my favorite counter service in all of disney! So mad!

It was still sprinkling pretty heavy at this point. I had my nice camera and it was getting decently wet since I didn't have anything to put it in. I was wondering if I made the mistake of bringing that and wearing flip flops.





I decided to get something from the tandoori section. I got the chicken with the spinach and paneer(cheese), and the squash with multigrain rice and naan.

The spinach was nasty but the paneer was good. The chicken was good but one piece was pretty fatty. The squash and naan were both tasty!

Corey was an ultimate cheapie and got a lunch for 69 cents!!!! He didn't want to eat a big lunch because we were eating dinner in a few hours so he got bread and then got free PB&J!! Haha! I love it!!

Anyways, it was a satisfying meal. I didn't eat my whole meal because I wanted to save room for dinner so some of it was untouched. But it was pretty good.

I feel like every time we fly to MCO from MSP we are the only Disney Freaks! Everyone is all business, or snow birds, or last year Universal Fans. Checking flight prices is always my obsession before a trip never know when to pull the trigger. I already chickened out and bought for Dec. (now i don't want to look at prices) can't wait to see Picts of AKL we have 4 days there in Dec also! I followed your Picts on the live thread and it seemed like there were a few disappointments (min and bills makes me so sad that it wasn't good)

Yes, he really used the term horsecrap! Haha, I thought it was funny too! I had no shame on listening in to their conversation. Lol the hyperlinks are funny! Haha, other people do freak out when you show them spreadsheets. Haha, it really is a must do though!

I did feel better! Yeah, in disney it would rain like every single day. But I actually really liked the rain. It cooled you off and the air was cool after. It was really nice when it rained and it was so quick!

Lol that hipster article is so funny!!! My sister is always making fun of hipsters! I really like instagram. I normally used to post things to facebook but I am so sick of people criticizing me on facebook for going to disney again so now I just post to instagram so they can't see.

Yes it was disappointing but I wasn't too upset. Heck, a rainy day at disney is better than a sunny day at home! I was still so happy to be there.

It actually wasn't a DIS meeting, funny it is! I asked her if she was on the disboards and she didn't even know what it is. BUt it was a disney meet with someone that is a huge fan so that was good!

Lol! I post a lot because I have no life. Me and my boyfriend are the most boring people when we are not at disney and we just sit around all the time. Plus I have no kids only a dog so that helps with the time.

Nope- no job yet! He had an offer but it was for a lot less than what he made at the other job which was pitiful so this is even worse. He turned it down. I know he shouldn't be picky if he doesn't have a job, but he has a college degree and the job he got offered would be poverty level! So he is going to keep looking. He has applied at a lot of places so far but nothing yet. I hope it doesn't take too long.

I have had a couple flights where there was a lot of people but this one there just wasn't. And here I am in a disney shirt, disney bracelts, disney earrings...haha! Checking flight prices is an obsession with me too!! LOL! I literally check almost every day for flights to MCO! I booked 1/2 of my flight for december already(the flight back). Still waiting on the flight there to get cheaper. you will love AKL!! I miss it SO MUCH! Food was good for the most part, just a few misses in counter service.
