do the fridges have a freezer section?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

we are staying at the POP and are renting a fridge for some toddler staples like milk and some yogurt...have seen some pics of the fridge, and was unsure if the top row was a small freezer area, or if it was just all fridge. i was hoping that i would have enough room to stick some of those cooler packs in there to put into my backpack for the parks for her sippy cups! thanks!

Nope, no freezer.:headache:

Someone here posted a terrific idea :thumbsup2

Pack with you some brown paper lunch bags and a sharpie marker. Write your name and room number on the bag. In the evenings before you go to your room, drop your ice pack in the bag and ask the food court if they would freeze it for you overnight. If you mention it's for your children's stuff, they rarely refuse.

I plan to do this as well!:goodvibes

If you come up with anything better, please let us know!

I would be surprised if they would do that. It's against food service rules to mix prepared foods (like would be in the food court) with items from outside (like someone's personal ice pack). The reason is the potential for contamination.

I've been told restaurants will do it, don't know about the food court.

I know on a cruise, they have medical freezers available to store things. They let me drop off my ice pack every evening and stored it in a medical freezer then brought it to us on our room service tray.

It was just an idea someone mentioned. I'm going to ask the front desk at GF if they have a medical freezer available for my ice pack.
