Oops, I did it again.......
I booked another Disney trip on a random impulse 😅
2 1/2 girlies are headed for a relaxing yet intense weekend at Disney!

Who are we?
On the left is me, Emily, an almost 30 (yikes) special education teacher and former Disney CM. I did two college programs with the last one ending in March 2020. Since then, I've been a special educator and just LOVE my job. I typically travel with my husband, Tyler, and our 18-month old daughter, but we are leaving both of them behind for this trip. I'm a lover of pin trading, ice cream, and take serious pride in my ability to book LL and plan out park days.

Joining me is my aunt Michelle, who is my usual travel buddy if I'm not with Tyler and our daughter. We've had several fun adventures together ranging from Disney to cruises to several beaches along the East Coast. She loves Stitch, fun breakfasts, and shopping at Pandora and Vera Bradley.

Michelle and I haven't done Disney together (just us 2) since this picture was taken back in 2018. Our most recent trips have included more family members but back when I was in college, Michelle and I often did these quick weekend trips together. She'd put me on red-eye flights solo after classes and we'd spend the weekend having a blast in Disney together.

Our travel motto is "Have Kindle, will travel", which we've adopted in our old age. We bring along our Kindles loaded up with books and then just roll with the punches! It works out perfectly because neither of us are offended if we choose to read instead of chat - we got some silly looks on our last cruise when we read our books through dinner or waiting for shows to start, but hey, we're happy!

The Trip:
We had absolutely 0 intentions of going to Disney in 2026 for several reasons, both financial and personal. However, we always find a way to make some kind of girls trip happen.

Michelle and I one day started toying through prices, days off, etc. and found that Easter weekend would work perfectly for us and the prices were reasonable! Our original plan was to leave Thursday, April 2nd, in the late afternoon, but this didn't work out with Michelle's work schedule.

Our flight now leaves at 8:45pm on April 2nd, so we will be arriving quite late to Pop Century. Our return flight is April 5th (Easter) leaving MCO at 5am. Yes, this is a crazy turn around, but I need to be home to see my baby girl open her Easter basket!

The Details:
Thursday, April 2nd - Michelle is off work around 5pm so she'll pick me up and we will head to the airport for our 8:45pm flight. We expect to land at MCO around 11:15pm and have booked MCO2Disney (LOVE them!) for a private car service to take us to Pop.

Friday, April 3rd- We're planning to book a character breakfast at a resort, then spend the day at the pool before heading to Disney Springs in the evening.

Saturday, April 4th- Rope drop to fireworks!! We are planning to spend our day at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, with potential for a quick pop to Hollywood Studios (I physically NEED totchos from Woody's Lunchbox and have been thinking about them for months).

Sunday, April 5th - MCO2Disney will pick us up at 3am to return to the airport. I'm expecting to make it home around 8:30-9am to be with my girl and open her Easter basket! Then I will nap until Easter dinner 😂

While it sounds lofty to tackle all of Magic Kingdom and Epcot in just one day, we plan on taking things slow and significantly cut down on the rides we are doing. I'm expecting baby sister and will be about 6 months pregnant at the time of travel, so we just want to enjoy the smaller things and Disney details that we usually overlook when we go ride-heavy. This is my first time visiting Disney while pregnant, so I'll prepare any tips and questions there as well. It's crazy to think that my oldest daughter's first Disney trip was at 10 months old, and my youngest daughter's first trip will be before she's even born! I cannot wait for the years to come and all the fun Tyler and I will have with our two little ladies.

If you're interested in reading about a trip that includes WAY too much book reading, enjoying all the little things, and lots of pins then this is the place for you :cheer2:
