I love the clues and can't wait to see what Patches does with them!!!

I am sure that Patches is going to have alot of fun with the clues!

What great clues!!! I love that they are not Disney centered but when you see/ know them you know exactly where they tie in!! These really are great!

We were really looking for very random things that we could tie into Disney, and I think that we have succeeded. My mom had a blast shopping for them too!

Wow fantastic clues, you have some really imaginative ways of tying things to WDW. It is great. I can't wait to see how you incorporate Patches into all of this.

Patches is a very central part of this whole plan, so I really think that it is going to be fun! The kids won't even know that they are clues and the randomness will keep Payton guessing.

Patches will arrive sometime in early November. I need to figure out the date because I want for him to leave something every day up to the day that we leave.

I also forgot to post that Patches will also be bringing a sombrero for Payton (she loves the Mexican Pavilion in Epcot) and also has a cowboy hat for Caleb, since he loves Woody from Toy Story right now.

I can't wait for November....so the fun and games can begin!!

You are right...November is going to be here before we know it and we can at that point say...."We are going to Disney next month!" Seriously though, I can't wait to have fun with Patches and the clues.

Good morning...and Happy Labor Day! I sure do love long weekends!!

I have pictures of what we have for the kids goody bags...the last thing they will open before we leave so here they are:

For Payton

and for Caleb

What is not in the pictures are the cute Pooh coloring books that mom picked up recently. I think that they will be kept entertained on the plane, although we are flying JetBlue non-stop down and it is a 3 hour flight. My guess is that they are going to want to watch tv. instead of using some of their new stuff. We are flying Delta home and have a stop so this stuff may come in more handy for the ride back. This also gives them some quiet stuff to do in the resort in the evenings when we are winding down for bed.

Great goody bags! Do they bring their own carry on? In 2008 I let the girls bring a bag full of stuff and it was really a pain so last year they were allowed a small colouring book, crayons and a DS each and they were in my carry on.

We are definitely trying to rush fall in my house. Yesterday, Caleb asked me if we could get out the Halloween decorations! I have no idea where he gets that from. Of course, we got them out and decorated. Fall is my favorite time of the year!

Payton will be in charge of her own carryon and backpack and for Caleb, he will have a backpack for his goody bag stuff. We will still be using a stroller in the airport, etc. so once off the plane that can go over the handle.I will have a carryon for the clothes and stuff that I need for Caleb and myself. My mom and dad will be able to help too.

I found the sunglasses at The Disney Store, but it was a couple of months ago. Don't you hate it when the dog chews stuff like that?

Yup..JetBlue has tv's with Direct TV. It sure helps make the time go by fast when flying!

You are so funny!!! I love fall too, but Christmas is by far my favorite season!!! I can't wait to decorate... Devon is going to think I lost it. b/c I want to try to get everything up before we leave on the 3rd, which mean I will pretty much have everything up before thanksgiving!

I tried to get everything up before Thanksgiving (U.S Thanksgiving) last year but it didn't work so I rushed to get everything up when we got back. This year I have till the 9th so it should work out better

DH just loves walking with me until I find the perfect tree NOT!!....he likes them skinny and I like them FAT!! It is quite an expedition...lol I love decorating for Christmas too, especially since it is a family event. We all work to get it done.

That's us too. We need to have lights up by Thanksgiving Eve (?) because that's when the city has its Christmas nightime parade. Then of course there's Black Friday shopping. That's when I usually start putting out decorations but this year we'll be heading to WDW.
