Okay....they found me a match.

His name is Tony and he sounds just like me.

What the heck? Why would I want to be with someone like me????

I'm lazy and too idealistic.

He's works in non-profit and is a writer. That is what I do. There's no money in that.

I'll keep my overacheiving, analytical DH, rofl.

Not sure if people REALLY want to be with someone just like themselves.

My Dear best friend signed up for E-(Sm)armony, and was rejected too, but I think hers was due to a serious bout of depression. Funny thing is, the next day, she (at my urging) joined Lava Life and met the man of her dreams! *grin* She's been with him for over a year.

Oh and incase you didn't know, E-harmony is based off the tenets of Dianetics or so I've been told.

Once DH and I filled out these forms for some other dating site and I came up as his number one match. It was a crack up.

It was this one where they rate people by attractiveness. You get like a 1-10, then they match you with people that have the same number.

I don't remember the name though.

It was great for my ego, lol.

Sounds like there are some sites I might try. Back when I tried match.com I had just lost TONS of weight and felt good enough to put my photo up right away. I'm gonna need more pixels now.......

What really sparked my interest in this is I came into a little money ( just enough ) and want to take a vacation. My friends dumped me. I used to travel with 8 people - we went somewhere every other year. I really miss it. When my niece is better I will take her to WDW. But she is not well, maybe in 2007?

Don't let your weight hold you back. When Dh and I met I weighed 300#. He thought I was just as beautiful then as I do now at 150# lighter. I posted a current and honest picture and got lots of responses that I had to weed through. It was quite a decision between 3 but I saw the best chance for a lifetime partner in Bruce.

I promptly told my friend who then told her mom who now thinks she should start looking for a girl for him.

I have known my friend now for almost 20 years and as a kid I thought her brother was hot, now as an adult, he is a bit nuts for me...
