DAY 5 EPCOT, Sea Raycer, MK by Night
Ok, so today was a lot of running around even after a bit of a sleep in, as I just needed. Well woken up by the greatest alarm there is A Mickey Wake up call!! So realizing its about 10am! I got up quick got ready and got to the Pop Bus stop and it was not too crowded for once!, I got started talking to this family and we chatted all the way there and they were, great I saw them today and tomorrow all over the place.
Well I got into Epcot on another clear beautiful day at about 11am I have a Reservation for lunch at Le Cellier at 12.30 so I went for a ride on what became one of my favorite rides, and why I dont know Ellens Energy Adventure! I just loved this from Pre-show to Exit, love the Background music while waiting for the Pre Show to begin, I guess I just find Ellens comedy funny.
Well after my adventure into energy again I decided a quick whiz on Test Track through single rider line was in order, so after my 10th or so ride this week I went to go check out Mexico first and ride that crazy crazy ride. It was like a mix of Small World and Cheesy 60s Mexican Tourism Video!!! And no wait shocking!!!
Well after clearing out of there I moved onto Norway as I wanted to check out Maelstrom as I had heard so many mixed reviews about it. So I waited for about 10 mins to get into my Viking ship, and off I was
This was one odd ride too; Im still not sure what I think about it, lots of weird paintings of what I guess in the 80s they saw as the Essence of Norway, I skipped the Movie at the end thanks to reading the boards I just darted across the theatre and pushed the doors opened and left as I had 10 minutes to get to Canada, so I darted out of Norway, which I think is my favorite Country in WS mainly cause all the Cast Members seemed HOT! Something in Norways water!!
Well I made it over to Le Cellier and walked in and was taken aback by the beauty of the Restaurant, perfectly themed, (this shouldnt be a shock by now!!)
This Restaurant was amazing!! My Server was wonderful and so friendly with great suggestions on the menu Kudos to Ahh Ive forgotten her name but I did write an email when I got home to let WDW know of my gratefulness in some Cast members who were just Outstanding!
I had the Cheddar Cheese Soup for an Appetizer which was delicious, and the New York Strip Steak for my Entrée and it was to die for!!!! It was seriously the best steak I have ever had!!!!
Heres a Pic as well of this beautiful Chocolate Whisky Cake I had!
Well after leaving Le Cellier at about 3pm I left Epcot via the Monorail to the TTC, than swapped Monorails to get to the Polynesian Resort, as I have always wanted to check it out, plus I had planned to hire a Sea Raycer out, and I am so glad I did!!
This thing was amazing!!! It is one of the best experiences I have ever had! Speeding around The Lake and Lagoon It was about 4.30 when I hired it and the sun started to come down, which just made for a beautiful time!! I was out there over my hour in the end almost 2 hours by the time I got back, because a boat came over and told me too!! Its hard to explain how happy I was doing this so here are some pics instead so you can see how amazing it was!!!
After this phenomenal experience I scurried onto a Monorail and went to the Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day,
It was mainly relaxing and just wondering around, I rode Splash a few times
, Big Thunder, more Philarmagic, and than I was waiting for Wishes as I was really tired and thought they started at 9pm forgetting it was Friday, and they werent on till 10pm, so I left just after 9 as I was getting tired and just wanted to relax at the hotel!
So I took the Bus back which was deserted! And I had heaps of points left on my dining plan so I got some late dinner from POP! And took it back to my room and watched some TV and talked to home than slipped off to sleep to rejuvenate for the last to days at WDW!!!
Up For Day 6- MK, Contempory more Sea Raycer Goodness! And Back to the MK
