I saw this this morning and thought others may like to see it:
http://hellogiggles.com/photos-abandoned-disney-water-park-will-haunt-dreams/
Couple of questions though:
Did that photographer really have permission to go into River Country for those photos? He rented a boat, so maybe he had permission to boat around it, but why would Disney give him permission to actually go into River Country?
Also, there were quite a few misconceptions throughout that article and it amazes me that people don't do a little more fact checking than going to ask the nearest CM.
In the end, I think the pictures were beautiful in their own way. DH and I never got to go to WDW as children (our first trip wasn't until 2008) so we never saw River Country (or Discovery Island) as it was which kinda bums me out, but Mother Nature is reclaiming the land in her own way and I think it is amazing to watch. Wonder what it will look like in another decade ...
**Mods, please move this if necessary, I wasn't sure where it should go.
