Just popping in - I just made a Facebook update that was worthy of coming here to update too!! Aria ran up to Pooh today and posed in his arms for pictures!! If you remember our December and March trips - this is AMAZING!! Yay!! So excited! She wouldn't do it for tigger (we were at ak today where they pose separately) but we still got a fine pic.

Having an AWESOME time!! I don't want to leave!

Tonight is the wishes dessert party, tomorrow mk, Thursday DHS, then home Friday. Andrew misses us I know but we are having a blast lol I am loving not getting eye rolls to get PP pics, hop into a store, etc. hahaha it sounds awful but such is the life of being married to a non Disney lover!! He spent the weekend at cape cod, which I dislike and he loves so it worked out ok!

Oh and furlough was reduced so for 2 of these days I have to take leave without pay since I don't have enough annual leave! Haha

Anyway...sorry for going MIA AGAIN - it was 100% due to my NEXT trip - we leave Thursday for Europe (holland, germany, and Italy). I really slacked on planning since I was too focused on Disney so since we returned I've been pretty focused on Europe - packing, planning activities for each day, etc. Plus of course work, a wedding, friend's moving, you know the drill. I have been thinking daily about how much I want to sit down and start the Aug. TR though (actually, I haven't even done the June one have I?? LOL).

I will preface it by saying we had an AMAZING time. #1 Silver Springs resort was PERFECT - can't beat $349 for the week and the location was literally next to AKL - so we never even had to get onto 192 or see off-disney property if we didn't want to (we did twice - to go to Publix) which was HUGE for me and the second reason it was amazing was how close it was to everything. The drive to AKL is the same as the drive from the resort. Also Aria was just FUN on this trip. It is something I would 100% do again even in August when my daycare closes for a week.

The week went too quickly of course, I didn't get to do EVERYTHING on my to-do list but we sure did do a lot. Lots of character meets, rides - she rode Tomorrowland Speedway for the first time (hit her first height requirement eek!!) and LOVED it. She even was fine through the Wishes Dessert Party!

Anyway just an update before we head off on our next adventure! see you all mid-september when I can re-focus on Disney!!

So glad your trip went so well and Aria had such a good time! I didn't realize the height requirement on the speedway...I'll have to see if Dug Baby is that tall by then. Not sure, she's kinda small. Anyway, so exciting that you are leaving for Europe soon! I hope you all have an amazing time!

Yeah it was 32" - Aria measured at 31.5" at her 15m appt, so in June I thought with shoes she'd make it but they wouldn't let her ride. At 18m she measured 33" and clearly was above the 32" height so they let her ride! yay!

On December trip news - i am buying AP vouchers TODAY so that I will have the # to put into MDE when we get home (buying from Navy base, they take about 2 weeks to get here) to be able to use FP+. AND I was able to book California grill for 12/13 at 5:15 so very happy about checking out their refurbs!! Oh, we fly out TONIGHT! YAY!

Connor just hit 32" at his 2 year appt. He is really short and thin and not on the charts in weight or height. At least, he will finally get to do the 32" rides on our next trip.

That link worked. I liked the picture. Do I need to do anything else? There did not seem to be a voting option, so I am assuming it goes by whichever little one gets the most likes.

Xander has always been on the thin side around the 25th percentile, but he was always on the charts. Having Connor off the charts for so long is different. The nutritionist says we are making a lot of ground though. As far as height goes, Xander has always been 75th to 90th percentile. He is pretty tall for his age. I think he takes after the males in my family while Connor takes after the males in my husband's.

She was fine over the weekend so we went back to work and sent her to daycare Monday...resulting in everyone there home sick today. Ugh! It's been a crazy week. I even wore my new tinkerbelle shirt to work in hopes of starting it but it never happened.

Ill start soon though!! Europe was amazing btw! Next trip planned there is France in 2 years. Disney in between...can't complain!! And I can't tell you how tempted I am to book my mommy/daughter August 2014 trip but need concrete dates from daycare first! Haha

Naturally!! Haha. Hoping it will be longer than the last trip. Our italy trip in 2009 was 18 nights, this last one was 12 - so I'd love to do another 18-nighter - way more time to see things.

Yeah! It luckily didn't put much of a damper on the trip. Just was tough being out of work and dealing with that when we got home.

Time to start my JUNE TR!! YAY!! Side note: JUST heard that my August Photopass photos did NOT come on the disc - which makes me SO angry becaues the photos of aria with Pooh were only taken by PP. So send some extra pixie dust to PP in hopes they can find my photos! ugh.

So, our June trip actually started in May! To refresh - we went for 10 nights! First 7 nights were in a 6-bedroom house offsite with the in-laws. It was Dh's parents, sister & husband, and older sister, husband and two step-sons (ages 12 and 11). Plus of course Aria and Andrew and me. The last three nights everyone went home and we went to the Beach Club Villas!

I was nervous about spending that much time with his family, BUT it actually worked out great - everyone sort of had their own itineraries and we never really got sick of each other's company! It was really great - so nice to have babysitters for Aria for a couple of the evenings or so that Andrew and I could ride some rides together. We had a ton of ADR's - some with family, some just us, and we made every single ADR EXCEPT for the one I made our first night haha. Getting ahead of myself - sooo let's start!

Our flight was out of Providence around 9 AM on a Friday morning.

She was so little!! I swear she has grown 4" since this trip!!

She was fine on the plane - but at the time of the trip she was still at 2 naps per day, so her morning nap should have been during the plane. The only time she gets fussy is if we try to push a nap on her, so instead we just let her play with the ipad and she ended up taking a 10-minute nap at the end of the ride - she quickly fell asleep when we got her to the rental car though.

We hit a TON of traffic (after we realized why the GPS was trying to take us a weird way, and we ignored it, - it was taking us around the traffic! ugh) and got to the house around 2PM. Andrew's parents had already arrived and settled in. The house was near to 192 and it added maybe 5 minutes to the drives to the parks vs staying on site, so not bad really. I did not like having to drive that ugly strip though to get to disney property every day.

This first day we just planned to do groceries, unpack, and then I had an ADR for dessert for fun at Boatwrights - this is the one we didn't make as the SIL's both arrived around 8-9PM and Andrew wanted to be at the house to greet them.

So the house was set up with a master suite/huge bathroom on the 1st floor, which the IL's took (they paid for the house, can't blame them), then a 2nd master bedroom with a small bathroom and large closet (which we took, I did all the planning) which is on the 2nd floor but separated by stairs from the remaining 4 bedrooms/1 full bath. Aria got the smallest bedroom which was fine, and we had brought our monitors and set those up. Overall, the house was REALLY great - it had a pool which was used daily and really enjoyed, plus the space in the living room was great for everyone.

This house was 800/week (not including pool heat, which WAS necessary in june!!).

That night we all slept well - we had EPCOT planned for the first day at disney! Plan was to make rope drop for EPCOT so we had to get up by 7 or so! I had no idea how it would be to get everyone out of the house, into the 2-3 cars and to the parks ON TIME but it was NEVER an issue, even with teenage boys. Everyone was too excited!!
