He gently took hold of the handlebar and says in his most feigned voice of patience, “How about if I help you out a little with this.” I know he was thinking, “Lady touch those buttons again, and I’m calling security. I hate my job.”
I was talking to one of the drivers one night when the bus was almost empty. He said most people have trouble with them, but there are some that are just plain dangerous.
On a side note, when my parents traveled with me to help me with the drive this January, we also stayed there and ate at the Steak House which was incredible! Holy Smokes what a fantastic meal!
Hey, @docsoliday1 Sorry it's taken so long to get back to this thread, but I got buried in classes for my NP degree and haven't been on the DIS much at all. Thank you for taking the time to read through to the end and catch up. I hope life in Germany is going well for you! I just finished my other thread from my move across the country to Kentucky and am looking forward to some MUCH postponed travel myself. I'm not sure when I'll do another TR; my next term starts Nov 1st and it's very all-consuming. The classes are extremely tough and I have to really devote a lot of time there. Anyway, hope you're healthy and happy.
