An Alphabetical, (Flower and) Garden Variety TR- V is for: Vida la Tucson! TR COMPLETE! (3/14)

Internet is the bane of most RVers lives and I'm still trying to get a solution worked out.
Same here in Germany. My phone plan I get free text and data, but out in the countryside, that doesn't do much good.

Meantime I need to catch up on my other thread
Please send me the link. Why be behind on a couple TRs, when I can be behind on a bunch?

It's a hidden talent!
Of Freudian slip multiple times? :rotfl2:

And hopefully for the ones who were in the right bathroom, it was hidden.

R is for: Roll-E Panics & Right on the Water
Ruh roh. This doesn't sound.good

As I said, the evening would bring a transition with the arrival of my parents who would join Marcia and me in the Coronado room.
Tell em I said hi.

My mom’s knee was to a point that she was in constant pain and really couldn’t walk far or without difficulty.
Oh no. Poor thing.

the bathtub with an extra blanket and my pillow. No, I did not get any sleep there either
Ummm, may have helped if you turned the water. Just saying. :duck:

Sorry. That stinks.

I’m sure you’ll forgive me, but it does reinforce my notion that TR's don’t really have to follow a chronological order.
Yes, they must. You're violating the rule. Well, okay, it's my rule, but still!

which makes me wonder if what any of what I have written was completely fiction?)
I think you meant if any of what you'd written WASN'T fiction.

That ride is *****in’! (He's such a hip dad!)
Very cool. I can see your dad saying that...nice guy.

Mom, if you’re reading this, I love you, but you cannot drive a scooter.
:rotfl2:

She was beet red and so embarrassed, but holy crap, I about wet myself
Must've been less than 5 minutes since your last potty stop.

He gently took hold of the handlebar and says in his most feigned voice of patience, “How about if I help you out a little with this.” I know he was thinking, “Lady touch those buttons again, and I’m calling security. I hate my job.”
:lmao:

I was talking to one of the drivers one night when the bus was almost empty. He said most people have trouble with them, but there are some that are just plain dangerous.

He says, “Oh hey, there’s an eruption over there.”.

I spit out my drink and literally choked on it. “DAD! THERE’S A WHAT?!?!”

“An eruption. Right over there. <pointing to the volcano>”

“OH my Gosh, that is NOT what I thought you said, <still laughing so hard I could barely breathe>

“What did you think I said? Ohhhhhh….”

<everyone at the table laughs for several minutes>
:lmao:
See another Freudian slip? I knew there was something to the "accidental" wrong bathroom thing.

You nee people like me
Nee nee nee
We nee a schrubbery.

Yep, it’s a full year later now, and I’m just getting around to finally finishing this TR
I wouldn't know anything about that.

My new little home is the ONLY good thing that came out of Covid.
At least you had SOMETHING good.

The Casino is about 5 miles from our RV park (Desert Trails, if you’re interested; COME VISIT!!!!)
Desert trails. What are the odds something in Tucson would be called that? :duck:

On a side note, when my parents traveled with me to help me with the drive this January, we also stayed there and ate at the Steak House which was incredible! Holy Smokes what a fantastic meal!
Wow, I'd normally travel quite a ways for a great steak, but not sure international is on the docket.

You found the purple wall.

Hey, @docsoliday1 Sorry it's taken so long to get back to this thread, but I got buried in classes for my NP degree and haven't been on the DIS much at all. Thank you for taking the time to read through to the end and catch up. I hope life in Germany is going well for you! I just finished my other thread from my move across the country to Kentucky and am looking forward to some MUCH postponed travel myself. I'm not sure when I'll do another TR; my next term starts Nov 1st and it's very all-consuming. The classes are extremely tough and I have to really devote a lot of time there. Anyway, hope you're healthy and happy.
