Melanie, cute cakes and cupcakes! Now I'm hungry!

There has been alot of frustration with trying to get ADRs. We're going in March. I got one - March 22 - the latest they are making them for, and then I have to wait until December to get the others. At DL it's 90 days out - almost easy to forget at 90 days!

Good luck getting what you want Tammie I only need to make 2 as we will be driving over from Jensen Beach on Friday & just goofing off that day probably DTD, mini golf. I want dinner at the Flying Fish that night & to go to Jellyrolls probably to sing along with the piano players. Saturday we will go in to Epcot to see the Flower & Garden festival & I want to do dinner at Le Cellier.

Thanks, I like that one too. I am really enjoying this class. I sent all the cupcakes with my husband to work so I don't eat them.

Sorry about the ADRs for WDW. I've been there before and so I know how people wait for that 180 day mark to call and book all their meals. I hope you still get the places and times you want.

It seems silly to have to plan where you want to eat 6 months in advance doesn't it???????? Oh well, I know Flying Fish won't be a problem, but Le Cellier might......if so we will just pick somewhere else.

Thanks, you should see the whole fridge. Mostly Disney, but a few other spots we have traveled too. Seems I always buy a magnet & a Christmas ornament to document our travels.

Ok so let's revisit my still to do list & see what I have left to do.....

1. Call Nov 14th for Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour reservations-DONE
2. Arrange transportation back to LAX from Grand Californian since we are staying extra nights ABD doesn't do this for us-Done yesterday-booked with Luken Limo a sedan to LAX
3. Go to Disney Visa & DVC websites to make sure I have the info for any discounts we can take advantage of at DL-Done. 10% discounts at most all DL restaurants with DVC card & 10% shopping with Disney Visa
4. Transfer points to Disney Visa Rewards Card
5. Print out all my tidbits of info that I have compiled into a word document & directions to the places we are going to visit the morning before the tour starts when we have the rental car
6. Make lists....packing list, don't forget list, address list for postcards & get postcard stamps-Done
7. Get cards, candy & make xmas ornaments for ABD guides-Done
8. Charge batteries & get all camera stuff together
9. Clean house & get the ready to go see Grandma & Grandpa
10. PACK!!!!!!!!!
11. Go on the Disney Lover's trip of a lifetime & have a BLAST

Not much left to do............

So I wanted to do a little something for the guides instead of just handing them a tip envelope since I have heard how wonderful they are.
I decided to get a Thank You card, some chocolate (Merci brand since that says Thanks too) & make them a Christmas ornament since this is a December trip.
Here they are...........

I hope they like them.

Mr Potato Head is feeling a little piratey today so I thought he needed to say hello.........

I just deleted a bunch of pictures from my photobucket account & realized it left blank images in my trippie which won't be good for people reading from the beginning so I am off to fix that.

Congrats on getting so much done already. For me the housecleaning is a biggee. I would hate to come home to a messy domain. No way! Blech! I am in NO WAY a clean freak but that is just taboo.

Those are SO CUTE those little thank you things. You dis-people are SO nice.

Thanks......I am glad to have most everything done. I think I got that mug (I have a Minnie Mouse one too) at the gift shop of the hospital where I used to work of all places.

Thanks Sarah. I wanted to do something special for them, because I have heard the guides are just outstanding. I gave those same Merci chocolates to our servers & state room hosts last year on our cruise.

So if you are a Disney animation buff at all, you know about Frank Thomas & Ollie Johnston who were 2 of Walt's 9 Old Men. They were 2 real characters & were brilliant at putting real emotion into their characters. I them.
If you haven't ever seen this DVD & you love Disney history, you should get it because it is fantastic. Sadly, Ollie who was the last one of the 9 old men left died earlier this year but they live on in so many wonderful films!!!! Next time you see Baloo doing his Bear necessities dance or watch Thumper giving his "Eating greens is a special treat" speech know that you are watching performances by 2 wonderful animators/actors named Frank & Ollie.

Anyway, my DH loves these 2 as well. He said he was going to ask the Disney sketch artist for them if he gets to have a picture done. But then he said, you could probably draw them for me. I like to dabble & I am by no means good at it, but it's fun for me.
So I decided to make him this card to send to him at work in preparation for the trip.

Thanks I really like to draw. I am not great at it, but I really wish that I had persued doing something in a creative field as my career instead of being a nurse. I love being a nurse & helping people, but it so much more fun to be creative.
