I don't think I said congratulations on graduating--- so congrats!!! It's such a good feeling! And your new car is SO nice and could totally eat my VW Bug for breakfast.

Also, I really like your invitations! Very nice. And GREAT find on the rehearsal invites! I don't really think invitations have to match, and $2 is a STEAL!

Thanks girls! I am deff. very excited. I just hope I can everything done! I wasn't planning on working much over the next two weeks since I just graduated and will be looking for a new job when I get back from Hawaii, but now I am working six days this week. Ugh! I have sooo much to do!

Friday was my Bachelorette Party. It was fun, but full of drama. I knew when I chose my bridesmaids there was potential for a whole lot of drama, but amazingly, throughout the planning process, picking the dresses, etc. we have been able to avoid any drama. Well, that all ended Friday night. I won't go into too much detail, but let's just say by the end of the night I was furious with 4 out of the 7 of my bridesmaids since they acted completely selfish all night worrying about themselves and what they wanted to do rather than what I wanted to do. They all apologized on Saturday and Sunday, bringing me flowers and "I'm sorry," cards. Even though I'm still upset, I decided to squash it since the shower was yesterday and the wedding is in two weeks, really what else could I do? I can forgive but I won't forget and after the wedding I may be re-evaluating who my true friends are.

Anyway, the whole night was certainly not bad, and my other three bridesmaids were absolutely wonderful, and the four of us had a blast together.We stayed at an Embassy suites downtown which was gorgeous. We had dinner at a really great place called Bacchus Wine Bar. Then we had a martini at my fav. place ever called Chocolate Bar, and then later in the night, after the drama, we went out dancing. And finally, the bridal shower! It was great! My sister and mom did sooo much to make it all come together, as did DF, my brother in law, my dad, and me! Having it be and Alice in Wonderland themed tea party and at my sisters house deff. made it a lot more work than it would have been had we gone somewhere. But it turned out great, and was well worth all the hard work. The only downside was that it was soooo muddy! It was in my sisters backyard and it has been raining here forever. At least it turned out to be a nice day the day of the shower. We were so worried about rain, but it only drizzled for a few minutes and got nice and sunny towards the end of the shower. Here are a whole bunch of pictures, it was a blast!

Thank you everyone for the compliments on the shower! Last night I made all the door signs that are going in the welcome folders. I have also been busy shopping for clothes for the honeymoon and tonight I am hoping to start packing! I will post some pictures of the welcome bags/folders and everything in them soon! 10 days until we leave!

The cake was from Dessert Deli. It was soooo yummy, everyone loved. The bottom layer was vanilla cake with rasberry mouse filling, and the top layer was chocolate cake with chocolate mouse filling.

We actually registered for a Wii, and I'm surprised we actually got one. A lot of DF's family chipped in to get it for us. When me and DF first moved in together, I really wanted a Wii, but instead he want out and bought a PS3 for himself which I thought was unfair since only he uses that and we both would use the Wii, so when we registering we decided to put it on there since we never ended up getting one. It was my favorite gift. I also got the Olympus Stylus tough camera from my mom that you can drop in the water, drop on the ground, etc. and it won't break. It also takes underwater pictures. I can't wait to use it in Hawaii! That was a close runner up to the Wii.

One week from right now I will be married! I'm starting to get very excited, just working on getting all the last minute things done. I made a lot of progress last night. I organized the ceremony & reception bins & got them all set to give to Amy. Luckily DF's aunt is driving and she is taking them, along with the bin of welcome bags down. I finished the newsletters, welcome bags, and welcome folders last night as well. I also made my Disney bride shirt, DF's Mickey Groom hat, & the boutineers. Here are some pic's:

What is everyone drawing on their heads at your shower? I went to a baby shower where we drew babies on our heads, but I can't work out what you draw on your head at a bridal shower...

You know what, with all of these amazing mad hatter tea parties that everyone is doing, it's got me thinking about whether I have time to change the theme of our at home reception to tea party... hmm... Less then 2 weeks to go... Don't think so...

I actually didn't use templates for anything other than the, "From the Desk of Mickey Mouse," which actually wasn't really a template either, as I didn't change anything I just printed copies of it. I would be happy to share it if you like! The Door Signs I created myself using inspiration/clip art from past DIS brides. The Hidden Mickey info. I also created myself just googling info. and putting it into powerpoint format. I also used powerpoint to create the newsletter, and again looked at past brides examples for ideas and inspiration.

Thanks! At my shower the ladies were drawing pictures of what they thought I would look like on my wedding day, and they had to add as much detail as possible (jewelry, veil, etc.) Then I voted on the top 3. It was a lot of fun! Congrats on being two weeks away!
