~*Amy and Shawn’s PJ*~June 6th, 2011 - Our Hawaiian Honeymoon!

Your card box is complete... Let me know if you want me to change or add anything. I had a fun pumpkin stencil so I used embossing paste and did it around the entire lids of the boxes, so it's raised. Enjoy!

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! I love it, it will fit perfectly at our reception, I especially love the little pumpkins you added! :woohoo: I will keep in touch with you!

I have been super busy with Student Teaching lately, but am trying to get as much as I can accomplished for the wedding. I can't believe it is only about 10 weeks away!!!!! We did have a chance to go and get the tuxes a few weeks ago. Me and DF went to Men's Warehouse, and since DF wanted white, it was pretty easy to choose! I let him pick whatever he wanted, and am happy with the choice he made. My only worry is that the color matches the girl's dresses, since I didn't have a fabric swatch with me. Here is what DF picked out:

We are now trying to decide if we should have the tuxes delivered or go and pick them up. It would be kind of a pain to go pick them up since we are only arriving two days before the wedding, and our schedule is jam packed, but if we have them delivered and anything doesn't fit, we are pretty much out of luck. Any advice?

Finally got caught up on all the other PJ's I have been reading, so I thought I should update my own as well. I have been crazy busy trying to get everything done! I got our favors ordered and they came in, as did our toasting glasses, so I will post some pictures of those. DF's toasting glass broke in the mail, but luckily the lady I bought them from sent me another one, so that was great! I also have been looking into flower girl dresses, since I really need to get those ordered soon. Here is what I am thinking, do you like them? I also booked the Bippidi Boppidi Boutique for my two flower girls the day of the wedding, I hope they like it! I don't think I have posted on here at all about our plans for the week we are in Disney, so I will do that very soon. I have also been working on getting the BEO and Budget finalized, I feel like I had so many changes to make! My sister (MOH) has been working really hard on getting everything ready for my Alice in Wonderland themed bridal tea party, that will be at her house. We ended up getting a tent from a friend for free, so we know have a little extra money from the shower budget and I might splurge and get a mad hatter cake. I am very excited for this! Here are some pictures, and hopefully I will have a chance to update again soon!

Flower Girl Dresses (DF's niece insists on being Ariel lol, and I am thinking Cinderella for my little cousin, or possibly Belle, what do you think?)

so cuuute! i love that your FGs are dressed like princesses, it'll make it extra special for the girls.
As far as the Belle vs. Cinderella debate, it depends on which dresses you can find. Go with what will complement your colors, and it will all come together :thumbsup2

Disney & Honeymoon Plans:

I don't know how I forgot to post this on here, but here it is, our plans for Disney and Hawaii! I seriously cannot wait!

Disney:

Day 1:
Fly to Orlando with lots of family!
Take the Magical Express to the GF to check in.
Meet some of our guests (mostly DF's family who are first timers!) at the MK around 12:30ish.
Spend the afternoon there and watch the 3:00 parade.
Head back to the GF to get ready for our "Meet & Greet" Cocktail hour at the GF pool bar with whoever wants to come at 4:15.
Enjoy views of the Wedding Pavilion & Poly with some drinks! :)
Around 5:15 head over to the Contemporary to have dinner at Cali. Grill with some of our guests.
After dinner, head back into MK and spend the night there, see Wishes.

Day 2:
Wake up EARLY! Have breakfast at Kona Cafe with my parents, DF, and my sister and brother in law.
Head to Epcot for the "Around the World at Epcot Segway Tour," with DF, my sister and my brother in law.
Spend the afternoon at Epcot.
Lunch at Les Chefs De France.
Back to the GF for some swimming.
Rehearsal TBD (I am hoping for 6:00 and am willing to have it pretty much anywhere if I can get that time slot).
Take either the monorail or the boats (if the rehearsal is at the Boardwalk) over to Epcot with our guests for our rehearsal Dessert party at UK Lonchside from 8:00-9:30.

Day 3: The Wedding!
The Bride: Wake up and have breakfast with my mom and sister (MOH) at the GF Cafe.
Spend some time relaxing by the pool.
Get ready, the girls will all be coming over around 2:00 and I am getting some lunch delivered to the room.
Limo will pick us up at 4:45 to take us to the ceremony!

The Groom: Head to golf with all the guys.
Lunch at the Clubhouse.
Getting ready at the Poly.
Limo will pick them up at 4:30.

I will post my whole wedding day time line some other time.

Day 4:
Sleep in! Order room service, and spend the whole day relaxing around the GF.
Some guests will be coming to meet us at 2:30 to rent the mini boats. (Even though I was planning on spending the whole day alone, a lot of our guests wanted to rent the boats, so we decided an hour or two with some of our family wouldn't hurt!)
*I am also getting pairisaling for my parents during this time, as a surprise and thank you gift for everything they did for the wedding. My mom has wanted to do this for years since we went to the Bahamas and me and DF did it but she didn't).*
After the boats we will head up to the room to relax some more and get ready.
Drinks in the lobby from Mizner's Lounge.
Dinner at Citricos.
Relaxing night watching the water pagent with some champagne!

Day 5:
Check out of GF and check in to WL.
Spend the morning at the WL pool (our fav. pool in all of WDW!)
Head to AK around 12:30, meet my sister, brother in law, and our two friends there.
Around 5:00 we will head over to AKL, check out the resort which we have never seen, and have dinner at Jiko.
After Jiko we will head to DTD to have some drinks and a nice evening with our friends.

Day 6:
Wake up very early and head to DHS. (I want to get there when it opens so we can get on Toy Story Mania, which I have yet to ride!)
Around 2:00 head over to the boardwalk to have lunch at Big River Grille & Brewery works.
After lunch head back to the hotel and go swimming.
Have dinner at Artist Point.
Spend the night relaxing at the hotel and go to bed early since we have a 7:35 flight out of MCO in the morning!

Let me know what you think of our Disney Plans!

Wow girlie, your plans are action filled! But sound like soooo much fun! Can't wait to hear all about it!!

Oh your disney and Hawaii plans sound like SOOOO MUCH FUN!! I love all your plans and I'm really excited to see pictures!!

On advice for picking up the tuxes, etc. I would definitly pick them up. I would be worried if something didn't fit right, etc that you'd be stuck, or having to search town or go back to the shop to replace it. I think pick up the tuxes would be a lot easier. Good luck.

YOUR SOOO CLOSE!! I'm really excited for you! :goodvibes

I love how organized you are with all the plans. We too plan on going to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I'm sure it's going to be great. :cool1:

Hey Amy! Thanks for posting your Hawaii intinerary! It looks like so much fun! You have inspired me to get working on ours as well. I have read about some of the things you mentioned in my Frommer's Travel Guide Book and plan to do some of them. I will post mine too when I finish it. Your getting so close, very exciting!!

Thanks! I know it is hard for me to just relax when we go somewhere, because I always want to do everything lol!

That's awesome you are going to Hawaii too! I will deff. review our trip when we get back to help anyone else who is going there!

I just read your plans and they sound great also! I love the travel books, I just picked up one from Ollie's for $2.99 and even though I already have everything pretty much planned, I have already found a lot of helpful advice in there!

I got my wedding shoes, so I will be posting a picture of those shortly, I just need to get the "I do" stickers I bought on the bottom of them.

I have once again gone on a productive streak since I am off this week due to Easter break for the kiddies. I got my shoes (pic below), and also got in the freeze dried rose petals I ordered. Last night my mom and I put them in bags for the toss, got the flower girl baskets ready, and mixed some white fake rose petals in with the freeze dried ones that were left over that we will use to sprinkle down the sides of our aisle runner. I also ordered both flower girl dresses, and will post pictures when those come in. My bridesmaids dresses came in and I LOVE them, they are the perfect color and so pretty! I also have been working on finishing up the bridesmaids bouquets which have been a pain to make but such a money saver. Today my plans are to try on my dress with my shoes (and pray I don't need my dress hemmed), practice my hair which I have yet to do  and head to Micheal's to look for some stationary for programs/menus and also flowers and a vase to make my altar arrangement. Wish me luck! Here are some pic's:

Love the new updates!! I think your bouquets are coming out really nice!!! I can't wait to see everything put together!! I'll see you on June 4th!!! :thumbsup2

The shoes and bouquets look great!

Did I miss something? did you cancel your MK shoot? I know we were scheduled for the same day and now my BEO magically says 6:30 am which I know was your time...Just trying to avoid a crazy MK shoot catastrophe! lol

Yes I did, I am sorry I forgot to mention it to you, because when I canceled it I remembered you wanted that time and was going to tell you. I have been so busy lately, which I am sure you can sympathize with! I can't believe our weddings are only less than 6 weeks away! I feel like I have so much to do, how about you?
