My parents are taking a train to WDW. They have never traveled from their hometown. Does anyone know of reliable and easy transportation for them to take form the train to POR

From the Orlando station, there is a CoachUSA shuttle to WDW resorts, and a Hertz rental car desk in the station. Naturally, Taxi's and Lynx buses are also available. Although I have never used it, the CoachUSA shuttle should probably be the simplest means of transport.

From Kissimmee, you have taxi's and Lynx again. Rental Cars are "on call" from here.

I know at least some of the local towncar transportation services (I don't keep track of which) also serve Amtrak, and you could always reserve one of those.

Try contacting FL Tours that sponsors the board FIRST. If they won't do this run I have done it with Florida Towncar

We go to florida every summer by AMtrak. We usually take the CoachUSA when we get there. I think years ago we took a cab. But anyways there are a bunch of them at the Kissimee station where we gEet off. There has never been a problem getting a ride. We also reserve the ride back. My husband calls them early in the morning to remind them.

Hey 10778 - we had Tiffany Towncar pick us up at the Kissimmee AMTRAK station. They also brought us back for our return trip.

Sorry to say - we hated the train trip and would not do it again (from Bos). Good luck!

We used Mears the one time we went on Amtrak. There are usually a few Mears vans at the station. We had no problems. I would probably arrange transportation w/Tiffany Towncar now because I was so pleased with them. After many hours on the train in coach, it would be nice not to have to wait for transportation. But to be fair, Mears had some vans waiting, so we were lucky to be able to grab one pretty easily.

My parents took amtrak yesterday to WDW and they are traveling after 15 years and alone so we had a towncar arranged for them. It worked out great. I got this number from my friend who used them last month you can call them it is 1877-229-4109.
