Anyone traveling to WDW by train should note that effective October 8 (Monday) Amtrak began requiring all passengers boarding trains between Boston and Washington D.C. to have tickets purchased before they get on board. Anywhere else in the nation, you must have a photo-ID to buy your tickets after you get on the train. This may affect passengers transferring to Amtrak's WDW bound Silver Service trains north of New York (persons from New England or the MidWest).
