My in-laws may meet up with us at the World in June. They don't fly and would like to take the train. Which station is more convenient to WDW Kissimmee or Orlando?

Thanks
Kiena

we always get off in Orlando, but i know they said Kiss. is closer. We travel all the way from Boston, so they first told us its a bigger staion ( old) and mre transp. to catch. There is alot of cabs and shuttles there. So we just keep booking to Orl.if you are picking them up i believe Kiss. is closer.

Kissimmee is somewhat closer to Walt Disney World than Orlando.

My In-laws are in the same boat (er, train!) - and they are getting on Amtrak this afternoon, actually, in Philly, going to Orlando. If you ahve any Q's, OM me, and I'll answer when we get back :)

Dopey's Twin...
what is your opinion of Amtrak?
I am also from MA, and my DH has tried to convince me to try it..(he has fond memories from a trip to WDW on the train when he was a teenager).

We both hate to fly, but i'll do it rather than the long drive with 2 kids...

I've heard conflicting stories about the train. Some people love it (for the adventure), while others say its' a nightmare. We'd not be able to afford sleeper cabins, so it would be stricktly coach...

I'd welcome your input.
thanks.

We're taking the train down to Orlando in March; does anyone know what transportation choices we have to get to WDW??
(We usually do the auto train, so transport isn't an issue.)
