amost an all time record - rain

in the NY area! Just another 1 1/2 inches and we've beat the all time wetest June! A record I've never wanted any part of!

Last week I opened my BIG mouth about all the rain you guys were getting up north. Now I guess it's catching up to me. All it has been doing down here is raining. We have a flood watch out, b/c more rain is expected today.

We are currently experiencing the 4th wettest June on record. By the weekend, Mr. G says we will move up to 2nd. Anyone wanna bet that we'll surpass the 1903 record?

I'm sitting here as we speak with my warm fuzzy socks and a sweater on...in MID JUNE?!? This stinks! I couldn't even leave my windows open last night (which I love to do when it's not too hot) because I was freezing.

This is depressing! Some of my flowers are doing terribly due to too much rain!
There is a story in the paper today about how the cherry tomato crops are being delayed and the blueberries because too much rain!
