That is funny because my 10 year old dd said they really had to make her look young for the Seventeen picture where the other one was a natural.

I guess I'll never be a judge on reality tv. I never agree with the judges. I sure didn't get this one.

NOT HAPPY! Like PP said, I never agree with the judges! Was furious when Naima won in Cycle 4, thought season 10 was ridiculous (not because of her size-- because I didn't think she was strong at all. They have had stronger plus girls who would have deserved it more than her)..in fact, I'm pretty sure the only seasons I agreed with the judges were Jaslene's season (8?), Nicole's (5), and Danielle's (6).

I haven't been watching ANTM in real time from the very beginning - I may have started Jasline's cycle - but I can say that I have a perfect record in picking the winner. Not that the winner has always been my favorite, but they make it so incredibly obvious.

I didn't see the episode yet but it's clear who is going to win. Regardless of the actual results of the shoots/challenges.

My guess is it is going to be between Raina and Krista. Angelea is too street for Tyra. The pouting really ticks her off and will get her ousted if she does not shape up. Maybe she will get a clue though.

I think the models forget that Tyra discusses the shoots with Jay with her.

They really, really, really tried to shake up Raina by putting her shoot pic's in the middle of the pack because they loved Angelea. That was so obvious to me. Didn't work though.

I do have to say that I did like both of them, although they seemed very rough around the edges.

I think Krista was too old to win. Not that she was not GREAT, but winning the Cover Girl stuff was so out of place for her.

I noticed the absence of the Cover Girl judge and the Seventeen model judges. Anyone else take notice of that?

But that's apparenly okay! Several times they commented (in a positive way) on her androgenous look, once they even said it could be a picture of a guy.

A while ago I was looking through a magazine while my D was getting her haircut. There was an ad for some dress and I really thought the model was a guy. I showed it to my D and she said, "yeah, that's a dude!" I don't quite know why anyone thinks showing a guy wearing a dress will make me want to buy it...

I think that some of the things Tyra makes them do during the photo shoots are so out there. Some of which most models never have to face during their lifetime.

A couple of Krista's photos were so obviously not the best. I thought that Alex had the best shadow picture. When you looked at Krista's, you could hardly tell that there was a person there. And the picture with the ram. It thought Alex did a much better job also.

They so obviously did not want Alex in the final two. I also thought that her runway walk in the final challenge much better than Krista or Raina. They were supposed to be animated and the final two were mostly like wooden dolls.

Krista's black dress picture...where do I begin? Mom said she looked like a drag queen .

I am SOOO happy with the results Raina did not have the body or face, IMO on the face, for modelling. Her pictures weren't great either the only really good one was the perfume shot.

Krista had a great body, a great walk, and took amazing pictures.

Looking like a man isn't necessarily a bad thing in the modelling industry. I can think of SO many female models that look a lot like men. Hannelore Knuts, Jamie Bochert, Erin O'Connor, Anna Selezneva, Aggyness Deyn, Mey Bun, Malgosia Bela, Iris Strubegger the list really goes on and on. Iris Strubegger was even featured in a men's fashion magazine editorial with male models, modelling mens' clothes. Not to mention, Iris Strubegger is 27, Jamie is 28, Hannelore is 32, Malgosia is not young either. There are plenty of older models, those just happen to be androgynous AND older than the average model.

In fact, a transexual woman named Lea T (not sure of her full last name) booked a Givenchy campaign this season.

Actually, a lot of these photoshoots are very realistic, at least the overseas ones. Daiane Conterato had a whole editorial with different animals, and the ugly-pretty photoshoot was something I could see in any issue of almost any fashion magazine.
