So, they picked the final member of the group tonight..no spoiler here...BUT they also said they released their single today - so, how did they get the final member on the CD released today?

Maybe I'm being dense, but I don't understand...anyone have any ideas?

perhaps the single was the "Kids in America" song that they sang and so all ten kids were on it.

I'll take a guess...

They had already made the single with the members of the group they had before tonight. They added another part for tonight's new member to sing with the group at the end of the show.

It doesn't make sense not to include the final member on the new CD, but on the other hand, being able to announce on tonight's final show, that the single is being released today might help with sales, as far as getting the word out....while they still have air time.

Just a guess.

I hear them clearly say that the "kids in america" was the song they released and I assumed that it was with all ten "jr's." Not the only "the group."

BTW does "the group" have a name?

According to the website, the new single is "One Step Closer."

Robin, the band members are Chauncey, Lucy, Tori, Taylor, and Danielle.

Danielle White, the girl who sang, Daydream Believer, Colours of the wind, etc was the last one to make it. She had never made it into the top voted three but got in this week. She has a really pure, wonderful voice and it seems like she is a lovely girl, not as cheeky as some of the others. She's been my favourite from the start.

Chantal Kohl's dad was so heartbreaking as he cried all night. I think his daughter just couldn't dance as well as the others and it cost her.

AJ Melendez will be a star as will Katelyn Tarver (the Britney lookalike)

I was so glad to see Danielle make the group last night. I've always liked Chantal but after seeing her last week performing with the group, I didn't think that she melded very well with them. I wish that the group had another boy. It just seems so uneven. Both Morgan? and AJ did very well with the group last week as did Danielle. I'd like to see Tori replaced with another boy. Of the two sisters, I like Taylor best. My daughter can't wait for their CD to come out.
