American Idol Season 9

Siobhan is horribly nasal and speaks half the time instead of singing. During her rather prolonged (dogs were writhing in pain) screech last night, her voice cracked at least twice. She can't even hold a screeeeeeeeeeeeech. She is godawful and yet they praise her. I think they just want to keep her on so it doesn't become all guys against one girl.

Have to say I totally agree with you on this...I was holding my breath when she started "singing" felt like she put nothing into the song and ran right through it just to get to her signature Screech as you put it so well

lol don't get me wrong, dancing's all cool and such, but I think it's because I grew up singing in choir, musicals, masses, etc...I grew up with the singing....the dancing? not so much.

This is the extent of my dancing....

I don't dance either. Didn't go to the prom. But that was due to not knowing anyone in school....

Try getting a degree in theatre without being a dancer!!! My counselor said I had to be ULTRA good at the other things so my "dancing" would be excused....

If anyone cares lol, I'm gonna try to sing Ever Ever After next....that's a song I might sing at the AIE attraction, since it's on the list of approved songs. That'll be fun!

I personally want Siobhan and Mike to go...but Siobhan more. She literally does give me a headache when she screeches. What gets me is how she, and some others for that matter, think she's as amazing as Adam with those notes. While I understand that not everyone liked Adam, you have to admit that whatever he did, screech, scream, hit the high note, etc.....he DID it....Siobhan is TRYING to do it, and she fails.....and the judges usually praise her for it.

Mike is just getting boring for me. In all honestly, with what he did to "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing" last night, it was the final straw. The original is soft, sad, and gentle with its notes. Mike goes, makes it soulful, changes the notes completely.....bleh, idk....it's just not doing it for me anymore. I can handle him staying this week....it's Siobhan I really want to go.


Oh, and here's my video of me singing with Kelly Clarkson's "I Do Not Hook Up"....I sang it a couple weeks ago, and I didn't try to perfect my voice by editing it....so there are 'pitchy' moments there. Hope you guys like it, and remember to give me feedback if you want, either on here or on youtube.

Sounds like he is on the production/technical side of theatre. My degree was for performing arts.
